It's such a beautiful home, Megan!! The truth is that a house is never done. It's always projects and things that need done. And once you work your way through it's time to repaint where you started and make small repairs etc. It's a continual state of undoneness. But I certainly would not trade it for anything else. I love my imperfect cottage and I'm excited for the warm weather and sunshine to come back so outside comes back to life again. We are going to have EPIC gardens this year!
I love the charm of your home! I am not an open concept fan, I enjoy separate rooms like this. I would switch out the fuzzy blue runner on the stairs for a vintage inspired one. Beautiful tour-thanks!
It's a lovely home Megan. You are going to make it beautiful. I love watching your makeovers and only use RUclips so was so happy to see you posted. It's going to be a long time in the making but your style is so nice and I know it will all turn out great as you work so hard. Loved watching.
Lovely to see you. Your home is beautiful. The sink in your downstairs W.C. is beautiful if I bought one like that in the UK it would be very expensive. 👍🥰
I love your home so much!! There has been so much progress already, can’t wait to watch your home evolve!! So gorgeous! Ps- you were the first one to sell me on Ana-Luisa and I still love their stuff!
I'm so glad to hear! Yes, I am picky about taking sponsorships, but I just love Ana Luisa's jewelry. Excellent quality for the price point. And too funny about that gold paint. You're so right, the red and gold are a gorgeous combo. Unfortunately the gold paint shows a horrendous amount of brush strokes. I think it was the type of paint that maybe would have done better if it had been sprayed. Either way, repainting it is kind of low on the list of things to do! LOL
Love your home Megan, you have great taste!! Thank you for sharing. I really think a Home is never finished we have lived in our home for 25 years and have started to renovate again!! Best wishes.
Wow what a gorgeous, unique and cozy home! I love everything you have done so far, you have an impeccable sense of style girl. I even like the black living room fireplace, which surprises me, but it just works!! How did you know that? Anyway, I'm definitely getting ideas from you, which I don't often do, but I just love your style! :-)
I love everything you’ve done! Can you link the pottery barn dupe you mentioned?? I love that chandelier and have been hunting for one like it for such a long time!!
I feel what your going through. I have so many unfinished rooms. It’s a work in progress but don’t want to rush with it. Want to make it super homey and vintage shopping as well. Love the side dressers in your room. I’ve been in the hunt and can’t find the right one. That’s exactly the style I’m going for. Where did you buy those at? Your doing a great job with your home.
The difference in your floor colors. I’ve seen people put gel stain on to match it. Your floor finish still looks like it’s in really good shape, and the orange is actually a very beautiful orange not the 90s nasty orange. You might be able to just match them up by putting gel stain on the stairs. Use liquid sandpaper then the stain. Oops, my bad I didn’t watch the whole video. Redo the floors, OMG, that color you did upstairs is gorgeous. Please do a tutorial on how you did it and what you used. 🙏🙏🙏
LOL @ "bunch of Target furniture". I don't have any furniture from Target, but I was recently a bit concerned that I was getting too much from the Jungalow/Opalhouse collection.

Such a beautiful home, Megan. Thanks for posting this updated tour.❤
Loved the tour. The transformation has been stunning but anything you touch turns to gold. By far my favorite has been your closet makeover

Oh wow! Thank you! And I love the look of that sink, but its very low and hard to use because of its size. We will have to rethink it at some point.
Absolutely gorgoues , love the natural look of the refinished floors.

Also, I weirdly love the gold paint in the bathroom? With the red rug, I love!
