Half the team have been injured for over a year which obviously effects results as seen. His training methods are killing the lads and he has made questionable signings. Right decision to sack him. It is professional sport. Losing matches to Zebre and performing terribly is not good enough. Good luck.

I am not in the training camp and cannot judge if Rowntree’s training methods have caused Munster to have so many injured players at the start of each season . But I wonder if he was the one making the business decisions on who should stay and leave. Replacing Carbery and Healy with Billy Burns makes little sense. A more fundamental problem is the lack of quality coming through the academy. We rely on props in their mid-30s and imported centres.
