@@sketchingwithscot YOU ARE VERY WELCOME - I THINK YOU WILL FIND THAT RIGHT UP YOUR ALLEY - LOL!!! AND THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR VIDEO, WE ENJOYED IT!!!!!!!
I like to do my sketches traditionally and I use pens for it, but the ink is so flowy and can't erase so I tried pencil but I don't like it either so I wanna try a mechanical pencil
Mechanical pencils are the best a drew a few things and they turned out way better than when I used regular pencils. Very helpful and great video happy sketching! Oh and can you list me some animals to draw please?
Instead of buying expensive 12 count lead for my mechanicl pencils I get them fron regular pencils in different lead grades. I torch the wood and whats left is lead. Same size as my pens.
These are the sharpeners you can use. www.amazon.com/Kum-303-58-21-Plastic-Sharpener-Assorted/dp/B009IF653Y/ref=asc_df_B009IF653Y/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=219491607334&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17144579754338003347&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030849&hvtargid=pla-392515708473&psc=1
@SKETCHING Can you or anyone tell me what lead variations come in mechanical pencils? I'm looking for lead that isn't too dark and soft/crumbly, but all of the mechanical pencils I've bought from stores or even ordered over the Internet have all been the same. But I know there are different lead types I can get because I've gotten them before (it's just been many years). I'm looking for the lighter/harder lead. And do you know a way I can draw or color over the lead after I've drawn on the paper? Will setting spray help?
I use mechanical pencil to sketch before coloring with color pencils. I like using the light ones for that but for doing more finished pieces with pencils I use darker.
That's smart. I have been using a 6H or a 4H lately , sketching really light , feeling out the form with searching lines, then like you I go in with a darker pencils.
i love mechanical pencils. I find them more comfortable than the regular ones. I suscribe, I love the video.

What kind of image do you want me to draw?
I honestly wondered if it be better to draw with a mechanical pencil as a whole because I wanted to know if using a regular pencil would be authentic.
Use whatever suits your fancy.
I draw mostly with a Pentel 120 A3 0.5mm
I find it works
Do whatever you want. Express yourself
YOU ARE SO GOOD
Thank you so much! I appreciate that.

Brilliant idea! Those Ticonderoga pencils are pretty good and very affordable.
What the brand of the mechanical pencil?
brand doesn't matter too much
How do you sharpen the big leads. The sharpener I have is very small. On the back of my pencil, and I keep breaking the lead.

I have a 2B lead but it’s too dark for me and the H and 2H are too expensive.
Too expensive.

Here is a video for you...ruclips.net/video/73gZFjIAHtw/видео.html
Whats the first one called
One first has thin lead, the second one has a thicker lead. It has to do with the size of the leads.
