I was "Downsizing" for a while when i bought an "Almost New" TMax. Barney's of Brockville had sold it to a guy and he got scared riding it and sold it back after 300 miles. The scooter's top speed is fast (I had to over 100 mph & I weigh 185 pounds); 0 to 60 in about 7.5 seconds (not fast compared to medium size bikes- my Ninja 650r, which I miss, had a top end way above the scooter and 0 to 60 was in about 3.5 seconds). The TMax was agile, throw it around corners with your knees, light and simple to control (duh). But there were issues with more than a couple of things: The mirror post crack (replaced one of then once, the other twice. The battery (in the 09) was almost unreachable, you had to take half the front of the "Plastic" off to get to it. The fuel pump on a lot of them had issues, google it, so prevalent they gave it a name, called it TMax Fever... Maybe they worked out the issues on the newer models; if they did the TMax would be a great ride to have.
Yamaha won considering 1)the road curve 2)the headstart (especially faster for city conditions) 3)the sluggish start of the BMW makes the yamaha looks very agile 4)...hey the yamaha is 530cc vs BMW 600cc? Hahaha! Whoever said the Yamaha sucks pretty much reflected themselves.
In fact I think the if the BMW were cheaper than the Tmax, it would outsell it, but since the price is similar (actually the BMW is slightly more expensive) the Tmax remains a better option for the city as it is lighter and a bit more agile as the video as shown... even the fuel consuption is similar...
i know that T.max for the city as it is lighter it will be better and in first of video it jump , but for me i like the bmw it will be better in high speed in corner this have mush traction than the T.max i really like and respect heavy scooter or bike ....
Fuck that tmax...I'm telling BMW is worth every penny I ... I have the bmw 650gt and the thing is fast!! I usually ride my ninja 1000 to work but I commute 50 miles a day and I hate wearing a book bag and I needed better wind protection...so bought the scooter...so I'm riding on the highlway bout to merge on the interstate and this cbr600 pull up poppin wheelies and shit and I'm like I don't want him to even think I wanna race him but he down shifted and took off and I just wanted to see if I can keep up...man I tell u I was doin 110 and still pulling and this do was like barely pulling or barely catching up...we were like neck and neck!!! Bmw man .. Trust me!!!
+jojizzle78 I very much agree with you on this bike so much so I bought the c600 today! The BMW has way more going on for it than the TMax. and not one bike was pulling away from me and encountered a few on the open roads today.

That's mainly because of its lighter weight and its final trasmisson belt... it is more agile and more suitable for the city. It is only after a "while" that the more powerful BMW engine comes out..

Tmax has 16hp less....and so it has more acceleration! With a Malossi Variator Tmax is the best.

Thank You , Very Short Comparison But Really Show How Mush The C600 is Powerful And Left Both Of You And Go Away

Tried an NC750?
The BMW guy didn't start well, and he didn't have the engine revved like the T-Max guy.

Yep only the price tag is BMW
t-max just have good start
it better be faster for how much more it cost...
They cost the same just that you get way less with the T-Max.

Ninguno de los dos, la Aprilia SRV.
