I like this lift. The fact it is so slow, with a short distance and a proper lift where there was once a platform lift makes it interesting. It does have some good sounds too.
If you’re saying it’s an IMEM then it could be, the indicator is similar-ish but that’s an area I struggle with. If you’re saying is it then again I don’t have a clue.

Yeah I’m surprised they chose to install a proper lift. If it was a basic platform lift I wouldn’t have bothered filming this
Old platform lift installed by Wigan Lifts 2007, the new lift installed October 1st 2020. Hope this helps.
Ah that helps a lot, thanks

@AC Lifts did they? I wouldn’t be surprised though
@AC Lifts You I presumed?
@AC Lifts oh ok
This is probably Manchesters slowest lift, it is famously known on YT for that.
Slowest proper lift in MCR id say. Platform lifts would run about the same speed maybe even faster depending on the distance.
The weirdest replacement a platform list with a proper lift I bet that the original platform lift went quicker than it’s replacement
It probably would’ve went quicker, but in terms of reliability it needed this replacement
@@northernirishliftsmuch better than platform but still not that good
What Did ALDI Market St Manchester Used To Be
It’s always been Aldi the lift is a replacement of a platform lift
Interesting conversion! You have a spam commenter.
They probably just ripped the platform lift out and added in this whole new lift. Sorry I’m only reading this now. I will get rid of that comment now.
@@northernirishlifts The mechanism is still the same but they built it into the shaft
@@Class777 ah ok
@@northernirishlifts Yes I'm not sure how they would incorporate part of a (presumably) former drum drive platform lift into a hydraulic lift.
Film in Dublin soon
You are in luck actually I’m going to Dublin this month
Is IMEM lift

@@northernirishlifts Isn't a IMEM, IMEM has two Black button cutouts above the buttons this doesn't so not IMEM.
Theres always people with prams queuing to use this lift and it is very slow
It wasn’t too bad when I went, but it looks like a busy supermarket. I could only imagine what it would be like on weekends
That is a weird installation.
Aye indeed.
Weird installation
Indeed it is
