I too busted my bottom lip at daycare, tho I was 4 when it happened, I remember I was playing on a metal barrel that was turned sideways on a small metal frame. (1978) I purposely slid off sideways to run after someone who took something of mine and I hit my face on the concrete floor! Always had a scar on my bottom lip. Then several years ago, it got busted again and knocked out 4 teeth when I got hit with a skateboard! Both times the doctors refused to put stitches becuz they said the way it split it would leave less of a scar if it wasn't stitched. The scar is there but not very noticeable! I’m guessing one of the daycare kids ended up knocking the kid in the last story over too hard and his face smashed into the corner of the bench, caught his lip and caused it to tear.
My great aunt dropped me when I was a toddler so I have a scar on my lip. With the first story, that must be why they don’t tell who when an incident happens between kids.

Anyway when I was hired some of the employees along with some of the children told me of a little ghost girl who haunts the daycare and how they had interactions with her. I just played along but was thinking yeh right in disbelief. One day during my shift I was walking back to the room I worked and as I came across the long hallway that led to the gym room a ball was on the floor so I lightly kicked it into the room. The ball rolled to the left side of the room and then all of a sudden it shot to the right side across the doorframe. No one was in there. It totally freaked me out and I ran back to my room in complete fear. I didn’t tell anyone because I figured they wouldn’t believe me. To this day I don’t doubt it was a ghost
not allowing your child to attend a class party just because they had an issue with one child in the past just seems unreasonable to me. what is isolating them from the rest of their peers going to accomplish?
Most smart people take the bathroom locks off of the bathroom doors, with little ones in the home. Ever gotten a bill from the fire department , for breaking down the bathroom door, because the little one has locked themselves in there ? Then you have to repair the damage they've done , just to break in. This is from my real life experience, as a live in nanny.
And most smart people like to have privacy while using the bathroom and most smart people teach their kids not to lock themselves out of the bathroom door. And why wouldn’t you just call a locksmith. it would cost less then the fire department.

He says his parents filled in the blanks for him. Not everyone can remember everything at that age. I remember one kid’s name from Kindergarten, I don’t remember anyone else’s name, not even the girl that I played with everyday that year. I also had friends that moved out of the poverty ridden shithole we lived in to the same suburban neighborhood that we eventually made it to, that was every adult’s goal in that county.
