In this episode of "Adventures in the Philippines", @Jayyhartmann and I meet up with @aljohnpolyglot and explore more of the city of Manila. We go from trying various street foods, to riding a jeepney, to eating at Jollibee. Best of all, Aljohn and I get the chance to speak multiple different languages together! Be sure to watch until the end to see me try "Balut", which is a Filipino delicacy...I'll let my reaction speak for itself!

Hi Ryan, bro please could you make more videos in chinese, i love chinese and i love learn watching your videos. I admire you a lot. I'm from Chile, I send you a hug. You are awesome, I love u bro!
Let's go!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥maraming salamat sa pagpunta ryan at jared!!
You go girl!
Please upload often i miss this channel 😢
Nice video my friend! 😊 I can’t believe you ate balut! 😱
I know you love it too 😏
@@RyanHaleYT The trick with eating balut is.. don't look at the inside of the shell, add ur desired amount of salt n vinegar, and think of it like ur eating a normal egg. 😊👍
I have a Filipino classmate and my contact name on his phone is Balut lol
I can just stare in awe while listening to both of them speaking with each other in different languages and easily switching languages.
French native here. There's maybe some range of improvement for both of you in french. There's some accent and accord issues here. I thing your Italian is much better comparatively. But let's be honest, you are still beyond the average level in french, as I think it is still a very difficult language to master. You do not get the "french song" as quickly as the Italian one. But I'm still impressed by how many different languages you master at your age. I'm able to speak only 4 foreign languages and I'm just starting to learn Tagalog's basics. I enjoy very much your travel videos, by the way.
The only language I'm fluent in is English... I know some Japanese.. although I'm probably around N5 level for some reason (I think it's because I love Japanese culture and entertainment) it felt easier to pick up compared to french that's supposed to be a romance language like English.. the pronunciation of words is just more difficult it has weird sounds.. and I'm gradually losing motivation, I'm supposed to travel to Cotê d'Ivoire later this year, I'll be there for two years so I want to learn as much french as I can before i go but it's really difficult, got any recommendations?
@@Engr.Strang3 Just watch a lot of french content, like movies, youtube french channels in the topics you like. Beware to not reproduce Côte d'Ivoire's accent which is pretty loud.
@@axelSixtySix ohh didn't know their accent was that loud... I know it sounds a bit different from the French in movies and songs from France that I've seen😅 thanks for the heads up.. I'll try to enjoy french more
Je suis Philippine et j'étudie Francais en l'université. Merci Merci d'avoir étudié Tagalog.
The collab of 3 of my favorite polyglot youtuber

Karioca [Carioca] is the gentilic for Rio de Janeiro's people 3:17 .. I think I've heard the guy speaking 'Brasili' or something like that at 4:03
Yes, the translation of what i said there is "it is in rio in brazil, their natives"
@@aljohnpolyglot Nice, man. Following you right now. 🤗

Rayan, learn the basics of the Polish language and I invite you to Poland. I guarantee you won't be disappointed 😜

My favorite polyglots are finally in the PH! 🔥 Please make more videos! We're very waiting!
Such a cool video, Ryan....loved watching the colab with all you guys...The egg was my favourite !!...the face doesn`t lie !!..Hilarious!
Good thing you were able to try street food while it’s there. The MMDA is removing eateries on the sidewalk all over the metro.
OMG. Welcome to the Philippines Ryan Hale. 🥰🥰🥰
I am also outside NYC. I’m 21 and have a Russian Tajik Boyfriend. He speaks Fasri, Tajik, Russian, Turkish, Uzbek, Persian and Arabic. I was curious on if you learned Russian in college or with a teacher or on your own? He wants me to learn Russian and I want to learn as well but didn’t know if it would be too difficult to learn on my own.
The collab we all wanted but never thought we'd get! Legends 🙌
2:50 This jeepney plies the route to my hometown in Montalban, Rizal.. the jeepney's name was Ryanjake. Never thought I'd see it here. In my area, we call this type of jeepneys as "patok".
This guy inspired me to start leaning Japanese. Long journey but worth it. ありがとうございましたー リアンさん
Love watching your channel but especially when you are travel-logging like this. Great vid Ryan
Lumpia is my favorite.
IM GOING TO MANILA AT THE 14TH PLEASE STAY THERE RYAN UR MY IDOL😭😭😭😭
Actually jeepney is originated from WWii ( American soldiers jeep
Sisig - pork face (ears ,spout ,cheeks ) boiled and fried chipped in small pieces add chopped onion ,chilli , mayonnaise ,egg & salt / pepper + calamansi ( phillipphine lime ))
Yoooi bro PISANG GORENGGG🎉❤
I love you man I wish I could travel with you
Have fun here in PH
Ouii, exactement. J'ai dit "inattendue"
Great video! Love the content, so please keep making more! I also loved that you were able to get some Indonesian conversations in, that's always my favourite. If I may, just a little bit of advice: using aku-kamu with adults you don't know comes across as quite rude to me and makes it a bit awkward to listen to. It might be good to study the rules around politeness in Indonesian to make even better content. Keep up the good work!
This is amazing in the Philippines
Enjoy your stay here ..GOD BLESS
welcome My brother in the Philippines
Enjoy your stay here in the Philippines with our fellow Filipino polyglot. By the way, I just learned here that you're left handed Ryan.
Three days later😂😂😂😂 good one Ryan🤣🤣🤣
The crossover I never thought I’d see😮😮
Love your vids Ryan!
I lived in the Philippines for a year and found the jeepnie was made originally from Jeeps the Americans left after the 2nd World War. But nothing is throw away there.
You should go to The Filling Station American 1950's style burger bar restaurant. It was small when I went but now massive and it's a little like planet Hollywood with Americana throughout.
Enjoy your time there.
Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
In West Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin', all cool
And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air"
I begged and pleaded with her day after day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket
I put my Walkman on and said, "I might as well kick it"
First class, yo this is bad
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like?
Hmm, this might be alright
But wait, I hear they're prissy, bourgeois, all that
Is this the type of place that they just send this cool cat?
I don't think so
I'll see when I get there
I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
Well, the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get arrested yet, I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said, "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought "Nah, forget it, yo, holmes to Bel Air"
I pulled up to the house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo holmes, smell ya later"
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air
it seems like a triathlon going on there
It's been a long time since I've seen either of you. I hope you have a nice time
your cam is so clear, i like it. I like the edit too
Great travel video. Cool experiences. "Cucumber" and "cucumbers" discussion was funny )
This is so beautiful I’m from Romenia
If sisig ang pqg uusapan. Sisig ng batangas ang the best. Iba pa rin ung sisig jan sa makati. Sisig tawag nila jan pero may mayonnaise so hindi sya sisig. Dinakdakan sya. Dinakdakan is from nort part of the Philippines.
Try visit in Mindanao ❤
I’m loving the well timed memes hahahaha
Filipino here. Last time I had balut I was a child, and never had the heart to ate the duck T.T Jollibee spaghetti is sweet because it's targeted for kids' taste. Their earlier ads are mostly catered to children, who are often the ones to ask their parents to bring their family to the fastfood and it becomes in every Filipino child's core memory.
One of my favorite language content channels after our boy laoshu555000 may he rest in peace. Hope you enjoy your trip and look forward to seeing more
Hi Ryan, if you stop by in Malacca, Malaysia, let me know. All the best.
I learn English from Ryan :-)
Brazil mentioned! YESSS :D
The Mall of Asia in Manila isn't the largest; it's number five in Asia or so Google claims!
Welcome to the Philippines
8:56 All roads are highways.
Было очень забавно смотреть как они вдвоём пытаются вспомнить как сказать "огурцы" на русском) А так, акцент у обоих хорош, но мне кажется Райан лучше постарался с грамматикой и речью в целом. В общем очень круто получилось!
Panas sekali cuacanya😂😂😊
that place is makati not manila, not makati, manila. Makati city and Manila city are two different cities under two different city governments with elected mayors. Kind like saying Bali in Jakarta or Phuket in Bangkok
Mantap bang rian! Kpan ke indo lagi!
Enak in🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨👍🥰
Bravo Ryan😉 vieni in Italia a mangiare la pasta🤤
You talk really well Italian, and a lot of lenguages
I am learning B2 German right now, but I have not forgotten English, French, and other languages
Jared speaks so much tagalog he actually looks half Filipino now.
To avoid the heat, visit between Nov to Feb
FYI Mall Of Asia is bigger then Mall Of America
you have to mixed them up. before to eat. the sauce will go to the noodle, and it will not that sweet after that.
Balut, the Filipino foreigner deterrent... who doesn't want their eggs with the extra crunch...
tkt en france, aussi, c'est chaud d'apprendre des langues étrangères à l'école !
a collab that i didn't expect but hey im here for it
Good video Ryan! The fertilized duck egg didn't look, good. 👍
siguradong maiinit dyan
Thanks for the good video 👍🏻
Ryan you should visit also Binondo. Oldest China town in PH haha
you got a nice team to understand the culture.
where is that indonesian store in the ph?
*_First time to see your channel. I hope you enjoy Philippines. Please don't skip Palawan, or else you'll miss half of your life... lol_*
*padayon lang*
Try to go to Malaysia next.
'makati' is on point
CARIOCA in Brazil is the people who live in Rio de Janeiro
woooooh
🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨HELLO BANG KAPAN MAIN KE INDONESIA KAH????😊
The reason why Filipinos, Indonesians, Malaysians, and others look the same-and many similar words-is because we are from the same Austronesian race.
Mata - mata - eyes.
Telinga - tainga - ears.
Muka - mukha - face.
Kuku - kuko - nail.
Payung - payong - umbrella.
Lima - lima - five.
Putih - puti - white.
Hitam - itim - black.
Great video
I have a request can you plss go to Manila Caloocan
time to get fluent in tagalog ryan
