Simple economics of scale, the more users through expansion the cheaper it will be. 😎 Thank you and all the best Rre Kgobe👏

Guys like this shows us what is possible when leaders are chosen on merit and not because they are political cadres.
    An excellent guy!

What a fascinating discussion! The Gautrain when expanded as proposed, it has the potential to be a huge economic enabler for the entire province. To be able to travel to any extremity in 42min from the airport is wild!🤯
That alone could be a strong case for maintaining a perpetually loss-making infrastructure on the basis that you make that loss back through the money made as the gautrain connects people to businesses and work and they all pay taxes.

The public transport assets in Gauteng (incl. this train) are so woefully underutilised and underinvested in.
I wish that all S. Africans had an opportunity to travel internationally to see just what is possible when proper public transport planning is in effect.
South Africans deserve so much better than what this rotten government has thrown at them.

Information is welcomed but let their buses enter the townships.
Look how close is the platform to Alex but no bus for masses of Alex.

I'm pretty sure most people prefer to use their cars, Mr Kgobe. Maybe after a night out, sure

Most people can't afford to buy cars if you were not aware. The government is doing something good and you're still complaining. You don't know what you want.

I'd rather use the Gautrain than engage in road rage with you in traffic.

Mr Kgobo....I used to use the train...but know I know that it's really ridiculous to even pay for the R100 for me to travel from Malboro to Hatfield. We must charge Foreigners more money to go on the train and make it less for us. The train Is not clean .....please look beyond your pockets and give our people chance to use this train at an affordable price
