Thank you so much for providing this awesome awesome tanking guide, you cover all the physical "right there" stuff which no other guide does! I appreciate the great effort you have put in t o this!!!!!!!
Thank you for this video. I've decided to give tanking a try, something I've never done in an MMO before. I'm looking forward to trying a different playstyle, something other than DPS.
I like the video, just with the red areas. It is totally fine to stand in the red while tanking ONLY if you have DPS on your team who have their builds together and can melt bosses. That’s the only exception. When I tank, I’m in the red and ever have to worry about any of my stats dropping cause the boss dies too quickly for that to matter.
On one of my tanks, as I was leveling the character I had massive stamina sustain issues and slotting the werewolf skill is honestly an underrated thing. Passively get 15% stam regen just for slotting it at a low level where you don't have many skills is a massive help.
Thank you for taking your time to explain for beginners❤ i would prefer to watch it without the music at times it was hard to understand you because of the music
Thanks for a great tank run down mate. these days I see soooo many superman DPS literally taking over fights. These same people when they get to trials are a MASSIVE problem for a tank. then you get new people who are over eager and dont understand they will actually do far more damage if they let the tank do their thing early in the fight so everything is stacked. Their dps can go from low 20K to well over 100k if they know to wait. I usually train them by asking they let me control the opening pull. if they dont the very next time they pull Ill stand still and let em do their thing. If they do it again I ask the healers to not heal them to REALLY see how super their superman build is. They either talk smack with stupid logic based solely on what they can do or they rage quit which allows for someone else better versed in reality to join the team.
Yeah sorry about that, after rewatching the vid many times during editing I get too used to what I'm saying so I make the music louder then it should be. I've been much more focused on keeping the sound down recently
i am sorry about that. during the time of editing my old software was having issues, but i've upgraded since then and am monitoring audio levels much closer now :)
I wish the music was not set to the same volume as your voice it’s super distracting and annoying. Can you possibly Re-upload this with the music volume reduced to like 25% of your mic volume?
Very nice job laying it out!

You can do it!
Oh wow, you're my hero. This is EVERYTHING I was looking for as a returning player wanting to make the switch and learn tanking.
Glad I was able to help! :)

This is an awesome tank tutorial. Thank you..
I’m in the 900’s CP, always been dps. My group needs a tank, so I’m going to take the role. Thankyou for this. From a complete noob tank. Thankyou
Fantastic tanking guide! Really useful info that I was missing.
Glad you enjoyed! :)

I like to run Werewolf on my back bar and combine it with Strategic Reserve from the CP Fitness tree when Tanking.

whats that addon that alerts your for BLock or aviod?
There are many out there, the one I'm using is Raid Notifier. That is just a small part of what the overall addon does.
Darn music

Sadly I am not able to go back and re-upload this, but I will take it to consideration for future episodes
