I have kept bees for the last 15+ years, but got out of the hobby last fall because of family issues and not having enough time to properly care for them. But, when I retire in less than three years, and move to South Carolina, I am definitely getting back into beekeeping and will be ordering supplies from you. Thank you for your store and offering beekeeping supplies. After Brushy Mountain went out of business we needed someone to step up and fill in the void. You're awesome!
Man i gotta say if everyone worked like u guys n galls do on ur orders and shipping i wud order more from others but no thanks. Really enjoyed my visit years ago when you first opened. Store has really grown! I am overwintering bees I upstate NY because of your secret box material I learned from you. I still use the pollen substitute I buy from you. You are an awesome teacher and I share your info with all my students now. Thank you David for being one of the good guys!
Wife and I ordered ours for mid next month, cause weather fluctuates too much in March up here in Ohio. But we're ready up here to become bee parents :)
I love your queens. They come healthy and last for years... I have not had any problem with mites from your stock. The only problem I have is that they are so gentle that they do not withstand usurpation from the Africanized bees in the area. One thing that puzzles me is how your 5-frame nucs are wider than standard nucs. I have bought them a couple of times unassembled, and they do not match up well with my nuc bases or other nuc bodies. Like your products and recommend your bee stock for more temperate areas. Keep up the good work.
