Ok, I have to remember that you can't penetrate a Chruchill with the 5cm Pak. So close at the end! If one of your team had waited a little longer before giving up, you would have won haha, great gameplay as always!
Idk if armor or penetration values are historic or what model Churchill, but some only had 100mm thick turret, about 4 inches. The Churchill 7s have 152 or about 6 inches. Side armor is also only 80 on the sides for all variants From the first 2 minutes, that looks like a 7, had he aimed for the side of the turret, he’d probably have penetrated
The wiki gives zero help as to how any of it works. It says the 5cm can only penetrate the rear hull, which is a lie, and OF IT ANGLES it can bounce 88s…. Which makes me assume that there are armor values and it takes other factors into account, but I see no numbers or anything regarding penetration or armor thickness
@@DS-wl5pk You can use the garage , it's not great but you can get a general idea. The Pz III also has a 5cm gun and it shows it's penetration curve on the whiteboard , then just compare to Churchills armour in the viewer , angles matter for more than working out ricochet. Penetration drop off is mapped for all weapons but only some of the values are availible in the garage and it does not show how much hp damage a round does which is important as modules have hp, smaller rounds tend to do less as do AP rounds as they have less HE filler. EG A AT rifle can pen and damage the ammo rack in a Pz 38(t) but it takes at lot of rounds to destroy it while a larger gun can one shot it. There was a mod that allows you to play the old training course ( not the newest mod) and it had a mode that allows you to see the penetration and even see the 'armour' of buildings and you will see how pen works. Key point is that each object and module has an armour rating that reduces pen of any round going through it so with a smaller AT gun you might go through the outer armour but not have enough left to pen a module of the other side of hull for a hull damage ( 3 hits you dead). While rounds from the Jagdtiger will just punch holes and take out multitple components in one shot.
On the one hand, it's nice to see all those full servers, on the other hand, it's a curse because none of the newbies know how the game works and they run around like chickens. Unfortunately, real Post Scriptum gameplay didn't appear much in my last matches, but that's the way it is. I hope that many people stay, learn the game and get to know the game.
@@gizmofilms7632 I respect you point of view and your comment, but I have to say I think the community itself was one of the contributing factors to PS's previous downfall. I don't belong to a group, so all of my game-play was as a solo player, and the experience was for the most part very negative. I think it would help the game a lot if the community could be more inclusive instead of being so exclusive. I am glad the game is making a comeback, and hope to see the player base grow more.
For me as a veteran (1700h+) its nice to shoot some chickens/newbies. :D Dont get me wrong. Its just fun to have some easy kills because i played the last 2,5 against veterans. ^^ And honestly i dont need a squadlead. I just need my M1 Garand, its a great Lady. :p
@@chrisa2058 I think that's fair. And I think the community would benefit a lot by loosening up a bit. Obviously one of the main game mechanics behind everything else is working in a squad. And there is sure to be lots of people interested in doing that. But I don't think taking it to the point that it excludes people has any useful purpose.
Soo close at the end! Holy, nice gameplay again Tiger! I really hope there will come out some bug fixes soon like for the bugged endscreen and of course for the at-gun itself but you mastered it well. Love your ps videos very much! Keep em coming mate!
PaK and stationary weapons are so much fun but no one uses them, yesterday a sherman was shooting at a fob and next to the sherman was a whole squad and another 10 meters further was a pak 38 you could have easily shot him in his side but they just kept on screaming and watching ohh sherman ohhhhhhh lul
No, on some maps on different layers you have a kind of fog or haze in the distance. I even don't know if there is a depth of field option in Post Scriptum xD
Yep, these bugs are in the game for ever. The most annoying thing is turret reset bug so you want to turn the turret or barel and he jumps back to 12 oclock xD
i tried to play post scriptum awhile back but there were 0 servers except for 1 that only had 4 players. sadly i asked for a refund. i will have to repurchase the game and hopefully the resurgence of the game player base will stay populated.
@@gavin9174 I think a massive thing this game has over HLL is the armored combat, in HLL armored combat is as simple as firing at something till it dies where as in post scriptum the internals of the tank are actually modeled in so if you know where an ammo rack is and you shoot it then that tanks going up pretty fast
I have Been binge watching all your videos since the revive of PS, love the gameplay keep those videos coming !
Thank you sir ;)
Action packed, that was great. Thanks man.
No problem mate ;)

@@DS-wl5pk Yeah, difficult to say. I mean i destroyed a churchill once with a pak 38 but from the rear at close distance ;)

do you have depth of field enabled?
