Rather than the time, it's mostly the budget constraint. It was the most expensive Indian movie at the time of release, but still the budget was far far lesser than that of a heavy CGI hollywood movie. Actually with that limited budget, I guess they did a great job with CGI.

happy to c the title "endhiran" in Tamil
Endhiran is in my list of all time top 10 favourite movies. I watched it in Imax Adlabs and the experience was nothing less than a top notch Hollywood production except few things mainly music numbers and some over the top cheesy scenes, which is okay. This movie still has best vfx so far in Indian cinema. Better than Bahubali 1 and 2.

@@krish5554 you need to remove your devotional glasses first and then compare. I don't watch South Indian movies because they are not my type. Endhiran is the only south Indian movie that I have watched in theater and thoroughly liked it. I tried to watch Bahubali and found it totally unwatchable at every level. The visual effects of Endhiran, story, script, music are far superior than Bahubali 1& 2.
SkyBlue India nw I understand ur type of films is Race 3, Dhoom 3, Kick etc. First of all am not a big fan of Bahubali but anyway its better than entharian. The Climax of the film just spoiled it every thing, most of them are undigestable scenes. And don't type cast South Indian films only based on Tollywood and Kollywood their are industries that make gud quality films like malayalam and kanada film industry
@@krish5554 I don't watch Indian movies in general. If I were fan of Race 3, kick, Dhoom 3 and the likes, Bahubali too would be in my favorite list. You know what are my types, Shiva, Satya, Company, I like stuff that's believable, gritty, raw, movies that are not too cheesy, not over the top action, not over stylized slow motions fight scenes, not over dramatization of acting. Honestly, south indians movies are like an epitome of all these NOT elements. That's why they are not my type. They have all these silly things purely to fill the film with so called fan moments. And I don't understand why you said race 3 ot dhoom 3 why not just race or dhoom !!! Did you like first two parts??
SkyBlue India let me make clear am not a mass masala fan boy and if u don't lke movies like race, dhoom etc hw can u like Enthiran I don't feel any difference, and as I said earlier don't judge the south Indian movies based on Telegu and tamil movies or movies that are dubbed in Hindi. Have u ever watched a single malayam movie, their are some crap movies too but their range is very less compared to any other Industry in India. 95% of movies are realistic and are natural even the Superstars are owners of multiple national awards. Why I said race and dhoom 3 as they are current one. The only film I loved in the series is Dhoom 1.
