I have an old hilti TE60 bought in a car boot sale for about $100 It has a theft protection system light on that stops it from working and I have no fob key to activate it. I don't want to go to hilti as they charge a lot of money. Any suggestions before I throw it to the bin?
thanks for this informational video but i kind of did'nt get what u did there... all i understood was u pinted the laser at the red light and u reset it.... so if its that simple, do you really need to open the tool to do what u did or can u do it with the tool closed up and point the laser at it from the outside? i had the same problem and i also tried solving it with a laser annd it worked aslong as it is still plugged in. as soon as you unplug it and replug it again the light goes on again and have to laser restart it again.

Şenol Kaytanlı no, you have done all you can do , they work at the same principle they have SR motor ( switched reluctance motor ) i think there are problem in the way of work because there is a lot of electronic element in the main board and when the breaker get working , the electric elements separated from it's places , and the selecon material where but on the board , prevent you to fix any thing so it big mistake and Hilti ignore that . thank you again

This means that the fault in the main circuit and not in the reboot circuit and in this case you have to change the main circuit, and nothing to do but change the main circuit good luck
it can not possible to reset the tool Hilti breaker with any "red light". And if you see that man shown not only one video but it compiles two videos of Hilti breaker

the service indicator/light is an indication that your tool needs serviced not that the light only needs reset. would you do that with your car...no. send the tool to hilti for a professional repair and you will get a warranty with the repair. Yes you will reset the light but your tool will only lack performance and lead to a more costly repair in the future. this guys tool in the video really needs a repair or service.

Si funciona, yo tenia un te60 y el único problema que tenia es que se había dañado el cable de corriente, todo lo mecánico estaba en perfectas condiciones, solo le pase el láser y funciono.
