Im a Bulls fan, I want to see us take Edey at 11. Hes got the physical gifts, the offensive efficiency, the defensive capability, spacing ability, and the rebounding, plus hes one of the most proven, tested options and I think he fits in to our team BEAUTIFULLY. Center might not seem like the obvious position for us to go to, with Vucevic entrenched in the starting lineup and playing great, but we're SUPER crowded with high level talent at the guard positions and that is spilling over into SF as well (not complaing, good problem to have!), and Center is good with Vuc, so the obvious place to look to improve would have to be PF. We have Derozan listed as starting PF rn, and obviously we all love Derozan and he is clearly a starter but hes.... not a PF (at all)🤣🤣 Williams is a great and improving option, but the rest of our starting lineup is so stacked rn (literally to the point of overflowing), so I think upgrading and reinforcing PF has got to be the move. So I think we should sign Edey, allow him and Drummond to take over most of the Center minutes and move Vuc over to his more natural PF position, allowing him more freedom, especially offensively, giving him some serious mismatches, and also allowing us to run a HUGE, extremely talented starting 5, with some SERIOUS depth behind it🔥🔥🔥

Just because there’s no Wemby, Cade or Paolo and you actually have to do some research/deep digging doesn’t make this a bad class whatsoever. This class is GOOD.
I can't argue w/ my Spur's first projected pick here *but* *I* *still* don't get why people have us selecting two point guards. We have Tre as _the_ _presumed_ backup and then Wesley behind him, so why TF are we drafting someone to be 4th in line!?
I say this as a Spurs fan, but what if they draft Donovan Clingan with the 4th pick, and Nikola Topic with the 8th. Leverage Clingan and the Hawks' future pick swap they have, maybe some other draft capital, for a trade with the Hawks for Risacher. I'm not up to date with Topic's injury status, but if he's able to come back relatively healthy from it, my understanding is he was originally considered one of the top guards before the ACL tear. I can't imagine the Spurs are looking to rush the rebuild, for most teams that's disastrous, but this could allow them to still be in a position to maybe get a decent pick in next year's draft as well while Risacher develops, and Topic rehabs the injury.
Memphis all healthy are going to be a problem for the league in the future. Ja, JJJ and Bane already looked like a really good trio that complimented each other well and could do damage in the league. Then GG emerged last season and looks like he has huge upside. If they get Cody then moving forward that lineup of Ja and Bane in the backcourt, Maybe GG at the 4 and Jackson at the 5 and Cody Williams playing the 3 could be a very nice team. I feel like people have forgotten about Ja. Before this gun nonsense people were talking about Ja the same way they talk about Ant now.
