But one day, they saw a person above the surface, represented by the moon, and fell in love at first sight. The song and MV deals with their longing for this person and them going "Higher" and eventually above this surface in order to see this person again. They reach the above/the surface during the last chorus, where they are depicted dancing in nature. Before this, they were trapped under water which was, among other things, portrayed by them fighting under veils in the MV. But since they had already fallen in love with "the moon", best portrayed by Chan swallowing it while insinuating that love is like a drug and vital for survival, they can now not live in its absence. The absence of the moon under water is represented by the solar eclipse. A.C.E are literally ACES who keep on challenging themselves and never fail to deliver the best despite not having any privilege..they really started everything from the scratch..they didn't even have any mirror in their practice room when they first started and had to look at each other in order to get the right dance moves and be in sync with each other..BEAT INTERACTIVE was only a small basement room which functioned as A.C.E's practice room and also the place where the company operated..A.C.E really deserve the whole universe for their determination, hard work and immense talents.

Because their vocals are extremely noticed since usually they are in charge of the powerful rap parts but now their soft and beautiful and powerful vocals shine so much. Byeongkwan and sehyoon have always been part of a.c.e’s vocal line but now they can show how they are truly main vocals in addition to main rappers
All of you new people, you should visit their other MVs too. You will be amazed by the diversity of concepts and the aesthetics, story, the general artistry they put into making them, plus the boys are all just too handsome (they are actors too btw) 😆They can pull off hardstyle, fantasy, drama, etc. They deserve to be recognized for these. Out of A.C.E’s title tracks, this one is definitely a new side of them! It’s not as intense in the way that their other tracks are, but I really like this one. It has taken me a couple of listens to be able to comprehend the melody and the structure of the song, but it’s so great. Higher is a bit more subtle in sound. The background instrumentals and beats mixed with A.C.E’s beautiful vocals. You can’t even compare it to their other songs because they are so different. I’m glad to see A.C.E showing their other musical and artistic sides. A.C.E first win hwaiting!
A.C.E. Should have received there first win a long time ago some of their title tracks are so iconic, that I didn’t discover that some of my favorite most iconic Kpop songs like “Undercover” and “Cactus” are made by A.C.E. I’m shocked those songs haven’t recoding yet.

Everything in the MV and concept photos is related to the oceans and everything is so cohesive and put together. From the make-up to the clothes, jewelry, hair and props, it all ties together. Personally, the thing the sets this song for me more than how it was technically built and layered is that it speaks a lot of unspoken words. Story of the siren's dawn. The desire to go higher and move forward at any stake as long as is what your heart wants, the desperation, and the passion in their voices really isolate me into this emotional box-- rather than being a heavy feeling, it is much more inspiring, beautiful, and human. It resonates well with them. A.C.E has been going on in the industry for years and despite not getting a lot of attention when they deserve it so much, they've been consistently breaking their boundaries and outdoing themselves. Their aim to go higher has been unwavering. This is their craft. This is their passion and no one can't take that away from them. They are not just artists but people who are capable of telling a story and this song is definitely a very good expression of it. Because their vocals are extremely noticed since usually they are in charge of the powerful rap parts but now their soft and beautiful and powerful vocals shine so much. Byeongkwan and sehyoon have always been part of a.c.e’s vocal line but now they can show how they are truly main vocals in addition to main rappers

All of you new people, you should visit their other MVs too. You will be amazed by the diversity of concepts and the aesthetics, story, the general artistry they put into making them, plus the boys are all just too handsome (they are actors too btw) 😆They can pull off hardstyle, fantasy, drama, etc. They deserve to be recognized for these. Even their songs that are not title tracks are ear candies (Personal faves: Baby Tonight, Slow Dive, clover, stand by you). They also have International collabs with Steve Aoki, Grey, Hcue (damn Junhee is too hot here) too.
Talentwise, all their covers, lives, and even predebut videos can speak for that. Their variety shows and drama appearances are serotonin boosters too.

Out of A.C.E’s title tracks, this one is definitely a new side of them! It’s not as intense in the way that their other tracks are, but I really like this one. It has taken me a couple of listens to be able to comprehend the melody and the structure of the song, but it’s so great. Higher is a bit more subtle in sound. The background instrumentals and beats mixed with A.C.E’s beautiful vocals. You can’t even compare it to their other songs because they are so different. I’m glad to see A.C.E showing their other musical and artistic sides. A.C.E first win hwaiting!
A.C.E. Should have received there first win a long time ago some of their title tracks are so iconic, that I didn’t discover that some of my favorite most iconic Kpop songs like “Undercover” and “Cactus” are made by A.C.E.

Personally, the thing the sets this song for me more than how it was technically built and layered is that it speaks a lot of unspoken words. Story of the siren's dawn. The desire to go higher and move forward at any stake as long as is what your heart wants, the desperation, and the passion in their voices really isolate me into this emotional box-- rather than being a heavy feeling, it is much more inspiring, beautiful, and human. It resonates well with them. A.C.E has been going on in the industry for years and despite not getting a lot of attention when they deserve it so much, they've been consistently breaking their boundaries and outdoing themselves. Their aim to go higher has been unwavering. This is their craft. This is their passion and no one can't take that away from them. They are not just artists but people who are capable of telling a story and this song is definitely a very good expression of it. Maybe this is also the reason why it's hard for me to find a group like them. A.C.E, truly legends!

They have everything which are needed by a kpop group except for immense popularity...now is the time they should get their overdue well deserved fame for real...

everything about this masterpiece is just so surreal. the lyrics are so melancholy and beautiful, the mv is an ocean of visuals, the song itself is so so ethereal, the choreo is so graceful and angelic. and let's talk about how this song just proves that a.c.e consists of 5 main vocalists. the way wowkwan's vocals just rejuvenate and flourish our souls. to a.c.e and choice, let's go higher together ^^
