This has been SO HELPFUL. I am currently writing my literature review on gender representation within the irish myhtological cycle and as much as I truly adore this topic my adhd is kicking my ass and writing has been a great challenge. I have half a mind to credit you in the dissertation.
You have no idea how much these help me revise. For the first time in 5 years, I have found a revision style that fits me perfectly (and makes me want to play through Skyrim again).
oh my god I love this, how doesn't it have more views? I'm familiar with the technique, it works well but this gave me even more motivation to get back on track, thank you
My workload has increased: I'm the primary income for my daughter and SAH wife with two jobs plus college. These videos are my go-to for grinding out evening work. Many thanks.
I absolutely cannot focus on work without something in the background, but finding the background input that is *just right* for my brain to properly focus is so difficult... I've also tried Pomodoro timers before, and I previously just...ignored them? I wouldn't pay attention, I would accidentally skip a break, or get completely derailed partway through a focus session... Something about the combination of elements in these videos is just working perfectly for me. The music, the ambience, the integrated Pomodoro timers with sound cues to make sure I actually notice the work sessions and breaks..... Discovering these videos a couple of weeks ago has made such a difference.
I actually don't use these for studying- rather, I use these sessions for keeping focus during my creative writing :D It's been incredibly useful. thank you for these.
Not exactly studying myself, but these videos sure help to write boring and tedious job and grant applications. Hopefully I get lucky and land a job in Riverwood
Thank you so much for this! I am studying astronomy, a lot of which requires self study and I often feel like I am drowning. Then these "Study with me" sessions (especially Skyrim ones) calm my crying mind :)
before i start studying today, just want to say...I've struggled with this stuff all the way through university, barely being able to go a minute without getting distracted, scraping through with ok grades but with stressful all-nighters the night before submission on all my assignments. Even though this is my very last assignment (I'm in the last week of my MA dissertation deadline), this is the first time i've been able to concentrate for hours at a time in about six years. Thanks mate :-)
I can't stress this enough - these videos help so much more than you'd think. I struggle with having an effective studying plan and method but these videos really help me lock in and get shit done. 10/10 will always recommend
I dont usually comment on videos but I really wanted to tell you my gratitude, your videos really help me to focus and work in a nice ambient, and I feel like I'm not alone when I work! Thank you very much!
I love this. I have been struggling with study for a long time now and this is absolutely amazing. The music, the ambience, the sounds to say when it's time to pause or not. Lovely, thank you so much.
I am working on my graduate thesis for my program - Applied Geography. Currently typing up my introduction to explain my topic & gathering spatial & historic census data for analysis. My topic is housing segregation & how the history of it has left long-term negative impacts on Black American communities in the U.S.
thank you for amazing study-booster! I would like to have a pomodoro study session somewhere in Riften? or nearby, if you're planning on making more videos like this c:
I just found out my teacher changed the due date on my final essay to TONIGHT, instead of tomorrow. Got 7 pages to do in 7 hours. This is gonna be rough but I hope this video will help
Today I will be studying an ancient language known as cuneiform and why it was created, although I am keenly interested in Nordic lore and might glance at your studies occasionally. Perhaps we can trade knowledge on our breaks?
these videos actually make me want to do HW/study and also brings a sense of "things are going to be alright"
