I adore all the amenities it has for such a small vehicle. It would be so easy to drive, and a complete bathroom is amazing. My only negative is the narrow walk way but at the same times it is like a regular van! Perfect for a solo camper!
Hey Matt and Andrea, I just purchased a 22 Travato 59k. As I was driving it home, 3 hour drive. My wife and I could not recline the seats. We were so frustrated. Thought why would anyone design this without a recline function? Then I watched this video seen how you reclined the seat. I told my wife LOOK! it reclined! So we went out to the Travato and low and behold the seat reclined the same way! Thank you both for that demo!
Just sold my Travato 59g . Loved it overall but being in my late 60s wife and I found getting in and out of Murphy bed hard to do especially when sleeping together. The bed was also hard to get up and down. My family found the extra dinette bed was not comfortable and the uneven floor going to the cab made for hitting my head o. The overhead storage many times. Loves the large fridge, bathroom and ease of driving and parking it
Matt / Andrea: The pad under the mattress is a Froli Sleep System (or Winnebago's equivalent) that allows more air circulation between mattress and frame to prevent condensation and to improve your sleep. This can be custom fit to any bed shape and is also used in boats as well. It also acts like an inner-spring mattress
Wow! I’ve always loved the Travato. This layout brings the Class B to a new level! The bathroom situation is amazing! Technically, it’s a wet bath. But with the curtain that you guys took down, the toilet area wouldn’t get wet! Also, let’s not forget about the 4 Ps!!!

Hey Matt you and Andrea do great work reviewing all the motorhomes on your shows. But one thing I've always wondered is how much noise (good or bad) you would have to deal with in any of them. Might I suggest you start incorporating what the ACs and entertainment systems sound like when on?
Thank you, Matt. This is the one I've been waiting for. There are others that I'd rather have, especially the ones with 4x4 (i.e., Revel or Storyteller Overland). But this is my favorite one that fits my budget (or at least almost does). I am solo full timer in a small Class A, but want to downsize to this (actually GL, but same floorplan). Just one thing, this one is not the newest model. In the new one, that seat to the right inside the sliding door with the water tank under it that Andrea doesn't like (and I also hate) is gone and the tank moved. --- And that front windshield blind should be designed to go from top down rather than bottom up so it doesn't create that blind spot.
Ok... I'm not a big fan of Class B RVs but this one I like! That wet bath is great! Just needs a convection microwave. Love the color too! The solar is a plus! #vanlife

LOVE the door on the wetbath, the showerhead and the teak/wood slat floor in wetbath!, Upgrade the cheap sink!! Start bringing in induction cooktops and you can have a portable gas grill for outside. Lots of articles on the dangers of propane & if you have NO oven then you BETTER have a convection microwave....
I LOVE this floorplan Love the shower location (hated when bathrooms were in the back) Love the fridge size Hate the sink..but it's not a deal breaker Dislike the door to the wetbath I don't like the size of the entrance to the wet bath..maybe a touch more entry space To be very honest with you...I needed to watch this twice....I have issues finding dislikes. This is great for single mom, traveling with little one and grandmother! Four year old with mom in back and grand mom on front bed ! Love the fridge and bathroom, although I would like hot water outdoor shower and hidden toilet. Bigger sink and option for removable induction cooktop, microwave, convection oven . I understand the seat that blocks the door is gone in the new ones yay! Good work, you two!
Just wait till the foreign competitors come Hyundai has one for $40k I’m not a Hyundai person but when people see the difference I realize you can’t buy a house for the $100k but who wants to fiancé a RV for 20/25 years. That’s just crazy.
We own a 2020 Travato 59G and the front window shade is not a problem when driving, in fact I don't even notice it. The bed is snug for my wife and I, but manageable. All in all we're happy with it. #vanlife
I have lived full-time in the K model for 4 years. When it's raining, I can enter through the rear and step right onto the shower pan. It's perfect. Everyone else gets to track water through their van. I can also stretch the shower hose out the back and just shower outside. It's the only all weather floor plan there is.

It's fully loaded with solar panels and all. Too expensive for single retiree. I'm happy with my old 26ft class A. Easy to drive and park. This class B is well laid out. #vanlife

They should take the sink out of the bathroom. There is a sink literally on the other side. That would give so much more room to shower. They just need a place for a mirror over the sink in the kitchen. Maybe pull down? I hate those seats up front. Who could actually sit there and use that table. Take it out. Put storage in there and get a pedestal or lagoon type table for the front.

I dislike the bed, the bench that blocks the flow from cab to living space and the fact that it uses propane I prefer the dual twin bed version of the Travato with more self-sufficient lithium battery/solar system. The KL has the twin beds and plenty of room in the rear bathroom! It is definitely a 2 person van but that’s why I love it. Just me and hubby roaming, having a bed, potty, shower and small kitchenette of our own. That will be heaven.
The K model is the only all weather floor plan there is. Enter through the rear onto a shower pan/ drain. ( with door separating it from Maine cabin). Nothing else even comes close

You make rv reviews fun, even the outside part that I usually dislike watching. My mom does not share my enthusiasm about rv's at all, however she said you are happy and make it fun to watch. She actually watched what I was interested in (the "vato" & boldt).
What I love about the camper is that it has a cooking area, a refrigerator, toilet, sink & shower and although it appears that only one or two big persons can rest and or sleep on the small pull out bed, I love the sleeping or resting bed that may also be good for three or four children to sit and or rest and or sleep on; however, I may judge differently if I had the experience in driving and or spending some time in the beautiful red color camper.
I've imagined a layout like this ever since you reviewed one of those Class C with the corner bed and rear door, but wasn't sure if it would work in a van. As a single person I think the rear half of this works perfectly. Also as a single person, that whole dinette/seat/bed arrangement in the front is a complete waste and an absolute no go. Get rid of it for more storage and stuff, and just swivel the front seats around to a collapsible table of some kind for eating and work space. It's a friggin van with a 46" wide bed in the back. Why are they trying to pretend that it's meant for 4 people?

This is a really nice RV Van but for the same price you can buy a really expensive foreign Sports Car/Super Car. Van RV’s should not be the same price as an Italian Sports Car.

3 things I love about this floor plan ... the bathroom, refrigerator and the seat belted bench. Things I don't like ... the murphy bed is heavy, the radio (at least, the one in the 2020 model) and the kitchen sink, they should put a real faucet! Can you review the Thor Tellaro 20KT? Its almost the same Floorplan as the Travato. Thank you!
I've been bugging you for months to review this one. I knew the bathroom would blow you away. I'm not the type of person to say I told you so .... but I told you so!!!! Under that front bench is the water tank, and all the water lines are also inside. So even if it is below zero outside your water system will not freeze. As you have also noticed in the class A's you have reviewed this year, Winnebago motor coach division continues to push the innovation envelope. #vanlife

Right 😬 I mean after the discounts 107k if it’s gonna be your house I guess that’s not too bad considering they’re in the states that seems midrange but for the lithium ion being 140 after the discounts is definitely too much. I would have liked to see it sub 100k but they’re like 20% discounted right so that helps 😬
As the owner of my second red Dodge Caravan, I LOVE the red! You'd totally get used to not seeing front of the hood. I love the light euro cabinets, the big refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and the PPPP with a nice size wet bath. I dislike that backless bench and the small bed, as you said. But, also that dining table position seems tight. It's beautiful for smaller people! I'd definitely have to lose the table.
Like fridge/freezer, cabinets, and bathroom 👍🏼, roof cargo racks n ladder. Don’t like the dinky kitchen window when there is clearly room for a long rectangular one, don’t like the floppy roll up screen verses a pull hide-a-screen, and must have a convection microwave. Cheers 🍻
#vanlife Likes .... 1 - roofrack with solar panels. 2 - table converting into a bed that totals this 59G sleeping 4 people. 3 - Matt saying, "oh my goodness" on the PPPP making instead of an alternative. 4 - real table for hosting meals, working, and dining with guests. Dislikes .... 1 - sink with the folding faucet. 2 - regular microwave with no convection 3 - small narrow wardrobe / pantry.
Hey Matt that is a mighty fine unit- love the colour!!!! Love the storage over the cab, seat swivel, and the table setup. The price is huge though :( I don't like the privacy blind either - I think it is a real vision blocker, another is that huge air conditioner and finally the weird extra seat that blocks part of the door. Can you get it without the AC unit? I can't imagine a van needing anything that size and it takes up a ton of cargo room on the roof. Hey Winnebago - ever thought of a hinged door system for your vans, instead of sliding door? They add usable wall space you lose with the slider.

Fyi the new 2022 Travato 59G models remove the jumpseat and relocate the water tank to one of the storage compartments under the bed. This makes the area up front less cluttered, but removes the second bed and some storage.
Very nice!! Awesome shades for the windows. That's a really great feature. Beautiful light colored wood/cabinets inside. Incredible refrigerator and freezer. That is huge! There's a great spot for a trash can in kitchen. So important!!

This has always been my favorite Class B Van. The dinette drops down to sleep 1 more and the bathroom is just HUGE for a class B.

You can buy a house with that kind of money and a house appreciates in value vs rv's instant depreciation out the door.

I think the 2022 “G” eliminates the dinette to bed capability, sadly.

Love: the color, the bathroom and the extended shelf in kitchen.
Dislike: the bed area, that covered whatever in kitchen area and no oven.
I like it, except for the roll up screen “door” for that price point😉

This is a really nice RV Van but for the same price you can buy a really expensive foreign Sports Car/Super Car. Van RV’s should not be the same price as an Italian Sports Car.
I love the solar, generator, seating and utility outlets. I could go where I want for a couple months a year no hotel bills..awsome

3 things I love about this floor plan ... the bathroom, refrigerator and the seat belted bench. Things I don't like ... the murphy bed is heavy, the radio (at least, the one in the 2020 model) and the kitchen sink, they should put a real faucet! Can you review the Thor Tellaro 20KT? Its almost the same Floorplan as the Travato. Thank you!

Under that front bench is the water tank, and all the water lines are also inside. So even if it is below zero outside your water system will not freeze.
As you have also noticed in the class A's you have reviewed this year, Winnebago motor coach division continues to push the innovation envelope.

I've always loved this model of Travolta!
Likes: 1) the double seat up front! FOUR PASSENGERS! 2) A LOT of Storage for small RV! 3) DUAL Pane Windows! I ALSO, Have a bonus 4) That Bathroom!
Dislikes: 1) Bed Size 2) Wish it was 4 wheel drive! 3) That "jump seat" bcuz is kinda tight and if it HAS to be there, it needs a Back Rest!

Right 😬 I mean after the discounts 107k if it’s gonna be your house I guess that’s not too bad considering they’re in the states that seems midrange but for the lithium ion being 140 after the discounts is definitely too much. I would have liked to see it sub 100k but they’re like 20% discounted right so that helps 😬
As the owner of my second red Dodge Caravan, I LOVE the red! You'd totally get used to not seeing front of the hood.
I love the light euro cabinets, the big refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and the PPPP with a nice size wet bath. I dislike that backless bench and the small bed, as you said. But, also that dining table position seems tight. It's beautiful for smaller people! I'd definitely have to lose the table.

Don’t like the dinky kitchen window when there is clearly room for a long rectangular one, don’t like the floppy roll up screen verses a pull hide-a-screen, and must have a convection microwave. Cheers 🍻

3 - Matt saying, "oh my goodness" on the PPPP making instead of an alternative.
4 - real table for hosting meals, working, and dining with guests.

1 - sink with the folding faucet.
2 - regular microwave with no convection
3 - small narrow wardrobe / pantry.

Hey Matt that is a mighty fine unit- love the colour!!!! Love the storage over the cab, seat swivel, and the table setup. The price is huge though :( I don't like the privacy blind either - I think it is a real vision blocker, another is that huge air conditioner and finally the weird extra seat that blocks part of the door. Can you get it without the AC unit? I can't imagine a van needing anything that size and it takes up a ton of cargo room on the roof.
Hey Winnebago - ever thought of a hinged door system for your vans, instead of sliding door? They add usable wall space you lose with the slider.

Fyi the new 2022 Travato 59G models remove the jumpseat and relocate the water tank to one of the storage compartments under the bed. This makes the area up front less cluttered, but removes the second bed and some storage.

Very nice!! Awesome shades for the windows. That's a really great feature. Beautiful light colored wood/cabinets inside. Incredible refrigerator and freezer. That is huge! There's a great spot for a trash can in kitchen. So important!!

Love the 'yacht' style interior. I can't see two people comfortably sleeping on that murphy bed. The bathroom arrangement is great.
