My guess is that Kissy is sadden by the fact that Huggy is most likely dead, hence why she hug her leg in a reconfortation attempt. I still think that Poppy is a liar though.
Given they were children thrust into the big bodies, it's entirely possible that she isn't exactly comfortable hearing about people getting killed...especially given how she has killed people as well. Poppy makes it out to be some accomplishment to have killed Huggy and Mommy, but Kissy likely sees it as something that should have been avoided if possible. The fact that Huggy and Kissy seem to be the only big bodies that can't/won't talk makes it seem like they are constantly being manipulated by the others.
They made it ambiguous for a reason they left no hints so we can only speculate on who actually does the attack. Personally i think it was the prototype cause kissy was alone and vulnerable poppy and the protagonist weren't in a position to keep her safe so it probably took the opportunity to strike

Mommy and Huggy were probably more blood thirsty than Kissy, even though she was apart of the hour of joy, she's not really a hunter. Catnap went out of his way to prove he isn't a threat to the prototype so it was easy to kill him.
Prototype had no reason in saving Huggy. He did saved Theo because he's mastermind, he knew he was going to be turned into Catnap, he knew he will turn Playcare into Prototype's church.
Oo thiss is interesting butttt I have many theories about it: 1.) Plushies. The small little plushies in chapter three that controlled dog-day after dog-day was unal!ved- could've attacked kissy missy. It could also explain the stomping and screaming, but the silence with it. However, in chapter three of poppy playtime, the plushies made lots of noise, and whimpered at the sight of the flare gun used to scare them away. The plushies did make noise however beforehand. Therefore I dont think it was the plushies. But! That brings us to the next theory! 2) DaddyLongLegs!!! He was never seen in any of the chapters except three. He was shown on a cardboard box with a button. Daddy long legs is stealthy, which would explain the no screaming with it. I think it might've been daddy long legs cause he couldve stuck to the ceiling much like mommylong legs does. Daddy long legs couldve ambushed kissy missy after waiting for poppy and the player to leave. He couldve dropped from the ceiling and ambushed kissy missy then. This would explain the sudden screams heard from kissy missy and the stomping couldve been her trying to get him off. Me personally this theory would fit best with the audio, however only time will tell, and we have to figure it out once poppy playtime chapter 4 comes out. We do not know whether daddy long legs is a back up, or not or if he was already gone. Daddy long legs NEVER appeares in chapter 1 of 2, BUT we see him appear not him himself but the cardboard with the button on it which couldve foreshadowed who will be in chapter 4. The contradictory with this theory is, 1, poppy said cat nap was the last obstacle in defeating 'the prototype', why would daddy long legs attack her? Possible explaination would be that he was taken under control by this prototype and sent as another obstacle to dispose of the protagonists. This could also mean that she was ambushed while the player was in a spot where they couldnt help kissy missy. 3) Huggy wuggy- huggy wuggy could've somehow survived the fall because of the prototype, because we never see the prototype take huggywuggy, because he disappeared. Huggywuggy could have had the prototype save his life much so like cat naps, but didnt unal!ve him. The prototype could've manipulated his mind to attack kissymissy his supposed 'spouse'. Contradictory with this theory: We do see huggywuggy plushies, I dont remember who, I think it was his plushie that was beheaded. We also never hear huggy wuggy's footsteps as there was a definite struggle. And only kissymissy's haunting screams.
Nah he would be a good side character. He was the main character in project playtime so it would kill the element of surprise and hype if he was a main. Maybe he ll have a role like miss delight but my prediction is they ll have him killed off in the last phase of project

I personally think it's bobby bearhug for many reasons. I know dogday said he's the last one of the smiling critters, but i think dogfay thought she died, but instead, her voice box got taken. This could also explain why we dont hear what attacked kissy
I do believe it was The Prototype who attacked Kissy, and perhaps in the next chapter, we go on a rescue mission to save her and there's one last obstacle who we face with and who, in the middle of a boss battle, goes to attack Kissy after we've saved her, but before they have the chance... OUT JUMPS HUGGY WUGGY TO SAVE KISSY! And he'll probably be pretty beaten up from his fall down from the first chapter, like a missing arm, fur missing in places and his face might be slightly distorted. But instead of attacking us as we'd expect him to do as he faces us with his teeth showing, he just smiles and goes to hug Kissy! 😊 💙💗

Huggy died and fell, he's also on the floor in the first chapter 3 trailer along with other dead ones, he's on the shrine dead and we only imagine him chasing us cuz he's dead and a nightmare about him.

that’s the thing if huggy wuggy were truly dead they would’ve shown his remains get taken by the prototype it’s done it was everything main antagonist so far accepted huggy.
Huggy returning would make so much sence considering the main characters biggest fear is literally Huggy, considering that the only main holusinations he had was all about Huggy in the first place, it seems like they are trying to place forshadowing in a more secretive way.
The markings in the water Treatment facility are Not consistent with him being dragged Off, but they are consistent with His dying Body plummeting down through the Pipes and conveyors, hitting against the Walls and Pipes and becoming increasingly mangled.
Catnap was the last obstacle blocking us from the prototype. The only reasonable answer would be that the prototype attacked kissy because I highly doubt that huggy would attack his friend/sister or whatever he considers kissy as(most likely a sibling).
I saw a theory that the toy who attacks kissy missy is BoxyBoo and I would love for that to be the case. Cause he needs his featured game for poppy playtime and not just project playtime.
I think the prototype got her since he has fr e reign over the place,and he killed cat nap in a way like it was some sort of deliverance,and that roar at the end wasn't like huggie there was one but the second one wasn't and we know kiasy missy is similar enough to huggy so it could be boxi or the creatures controlling huggy
Catnap was the last thing in your way to the prototype. So when youre decending down, presumably you're going directly to him, so to him, Kissy isn't needed anymore. Its possible he killed her due to this.
It’s slightly possible that huggy survived, but if you narrow down that it can’t be catnap, mommy or huggy, then it has to be the prototype. And it would only make sense for the prototype to kill poppy’s only non-human ally, because it hates toys who rebel against it. The prototype probably just got to the area in which poppy, kissy, and the player were a bit later than expected and had to get something out of it.
Have you guys realized that Huggy is technically in every chapter? In chapter 2 they used the same alarm from ch. 1 when Kissy appeared to make it seem like it was him. We also had to deal with mini Huggies. In chapter 3 its filled with references to him, the screamer for nightmare Huggy has his classical laugh from his toy and the next scene is Kissy attacking us and the lighting making it seem like she is Huggy
The fact That the protagonist dreams of Huggy Wuggy not once, but twice, could be a warning that he may return in search of revenge, this time more furious, bloodthursty and very hurt by the fall.
I think the protopy is mixing every experiment parts to create a even better being, and i would not be surprised if that being would be called a "perfect being", seeing how the story is going tho💀

In my opinion it could be dog day if you heard the stomps all of them were from kissy nobody else it can't be someone with legs because we didn't kill dog day plus if huggy actually attacked kissy the stomps would be way more rapid so I don't think its huggy

I know dogday said he's the last one of the smiling critters, but i think dogfay thought she died, but instead, her voice box got taken. This could also explain why we dont hear what attacked kissy

I do believe it was The Prototype who attacked Kissy, and perhaps in the next chapter, we go on a rescue mission to save her and there's one last obstacle who we face with and who, in the middle of a boss battle, goes to attack Kissy after we've saved her, but before they have the chance... OUT JUMPS HUGGY WUGGY TO SAVE KISSY! And he'll probably be pretty beaten up from his fall down from the first chapter, like a missing arm, fur missing in places and his face might be slightly distorted. But instead of attacking us as we'd expect him to do as he faces us with his teeth showing, he just smiles and goes to hug Kissy! 😊 💙💗

Huggy died and fell, he's also on the floor in the first chapter 3 trailer along with other dead ones, he's on the shrine dead and we only imagine him chasing us cuz he's dead and a nightmare about him.

I think it would make sense for huggy to be the main antagonist for chapter 4 and the prototype being the main antagonist for chapter 5.
I think the prototype dragged Huggy into the vent for more body parts, and that we’re gonna see Boxy Boo in Chapter 4
Huggy returning would make so much sence considering the main characters biggest fear is literally Huggy, considering that the only main holusinations he had was all about Huggy in the first place, it seems like they are trying to place forshadowing in a more secretive way.

The markings in the water Treatment facility are Not consistent with him being dragged Off, but they are consistent with His dying Body plummeting down through the Pipes and conveyors, hitting against the Walls and Pipes and becoming increasingly mangled.
Catnap was the last obstacle blocking us from the prototype. The only reasonable answer would be that the prototype attacked kissy because I highly doubt that huggy would attack his friend/sister or whatever he considers kissy as(most likely a sibling).
I was thinking the same thing except he wasn't saved by the Prototype.

Catnap was the last thing in your way to the prototype. So when youre decending down, presumably you're going directly to him, so to him, Kissy isn't needed anymore. Its possible he killed her due to this.

Huggy and the Prototype would be a great team just because they both are intelligent enough
It’s slightly possible that huggy survived, but if you narrow down that it can’t be catnap, mommy or huggy, then it has to be the prototype. And it would only make sense for the prototype to kill poppy’s only non-human ally, because it hates toys who rebel against it. The prototype probably just got to the area in which poppy, kissy, and the player were a bit later than expected and had to get something out of it.

In chapter 2 they used the same alarm from ch. 1 when Kissy appeared to make it seem like it was him. We also had to deal with mini Huggies.
In chapter 3 its filled with references to him, the screamer for nightmare Huggy has his classical laugh from his toy and the next scene is Kissy attacking us and the lighting making it seem like she is Huggy
The fact That the protagonist dreams of Huggy Wuggy not once, but twice, could be a warning that he may return in search of revenge, this time more furious, bloodthursty and very hurt by the fall.
I think the protopy is mixing every experiment parts to create a even better being, and i would not be surprised if that being would be called a "perfect being", seeing how the story is going tho💀
i have this theory where when poppy says “we need to be cautious, there’s something-,” i believe she was about to warn us about HUGGY, he did fall from pretty much the top to the very bottom and we are going down, not up.
i think boxy boo is going to be a boss in chapter 4 bc we still didn’t encounter him while playing but saw some posters and stuff about him so i think boxy boo will come in chapter 4 as a mini boss and the final boss is a creation that the prototype made with bigger body’s that’s my theory

I have a theory on why kissy missy moved when poppy said you Killed huggy. As the devs of the game Confrimed that kissy and huggy Are a couple, kissy felt sad or uncomfortable Because Of The mention of Huggy's death, It also could Lead to the reason Why kissy attacked us, Kissy Might have Knew that The player was the one who killed huggy, causing her to Act aggressive on behalf of Her boyfriend huggy. Another thing that adds to the lore of the relationships between the toys, but yet Her help Still doesn't lead up to her actions.

Since you hear a scream the only two people who could make that scream huggy and kissy. comparing The yells and screams of the two characters Kissy's scream sounds wayyy more lighter than Huggy Meaning it was definitely Kissy who screamed, but if you notice kissy's scream of fear and or Pain is high pitched yet that screamed sounded not only in pain but surprise Meaning obviously Ethier Kissy Was surprised of the attack Or Not only was Kissy surprised of the attack but surprised by the character. This is why i believe It was huggy.
I think CatNap his self attacked kissy, because we see some red things surrounding the area that Kissy was at, and probably CatNap dying was only from the Hallucinations of the player because earlier he was affected by the gas, but that's my theory and I don't confirm that its right :)
