+KoistOG it may be a nod to The Dear Hunter, whose second album deals with "the Dear Hunter" and Ms. Leading (misleading). the title itself seems to be an homage to Coheed, who I The Mighty are big fans of. the title of this song also sounds a lot like "The Lying Lies and Dirty Secrets of Miss Erica Court" from Coheed's Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV Vol. I album.
fun fact: the main character's mother is also named Ms. Terri (mystery, because not much is known about her.)

Kind of surprised nobody is talking about how influenced this is by the band The Dear Hunter. They are notorious for clever titles (like their name) or songs like ms. leading (misleading). obviously i the mighty is a little heavier but the sound is similar. people keep bringing up coheed and cambria but im not sure anyone has listened to the two separately. i guess if high pitch singing makes the entire band sound similar then I guess theyre right...

So this song is about a girl who gets in a relationship with you and uses sex to make you do things for her, and when she messes up she uses sex to make it up to you (Break Up Sex).
everytime you try to leave the relationship she just knows how to make you come back for more. e.g. Break Up Sex

Definitely ripped off the Chorus both lyrically and melodically... "Miss Erray, you won't get the best of me." from Billy Talent's song The Suffering in the bridge.... "Misery, won't get the best of me."
You "might" be able to argue an honest mistake, but not after you listen to the melody and inflection.... far to close to be accidental.
