Beleef wat de machinist ziet en hoort en ervaar het spoor op een hele andere manier. Zie het landschap voorbij trekken en hoor wat er allemaal gebeurt in de cabine van de trein.

Is er een maximum aantal te koppelen VIRMs? Ik neem aan dat gezien perronlengte het nooit meer dan 12 bakken zijn. Maar is dat dan altijd 2 x 6 of kan 3 x 4 ook?
+queenandi Volgensmij 14 zelfs ;-) Dat zou dan 6 + 4 + 4 zijn.
+queenandi In de praktijk is het maximum 12 bakken. Dat kan inderdaad 2x6 zijn of 3x4. Het is ook mogelijk om 14 bakken te combineren maar dat is echt een uitzondering.
sorry can i ask? what s max speed this train? why max speed is only 140?
The maximum speed of this train is 140 km/h. The safety system in this train, the ATB, is limited to 140 km/h. The train itself is rated at 160 km/h. While it is possible to have the maximum speed increased, the process of doing so is long and costly and therefore the train is kept as it is.

Most welcome. I don't drive the TGV, only local trains. We recently had a new train, the FLIRT: nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS_FLIRT (Dutch only). I haven't driven that train yet though.
