Hi I'm TK Playz I am trying to make new GFX for my channel but I use Mac Book Air for making my own GFX and my Character textures keep being set on the models face and not around the whole body I do use a Roblox Character 2.0 Are you able to help me out in some way Please?

Guys, quick tip: If you can't move the elbows or the joints in the rotation mode, there a white ring around it that you can use to move the joints, hope this helps!
Great video! I just have a question. If I wanted to use an avatar that I made on Catalog Avatar Creator, how would I go about that? The 'Load Character' plugin only works for the avatars that the person is wearing right now, and I don't really wanna buy accesories/clothes just for a thumbnail/gfx that I'll never wear.
idk how to select acccessories, when i click one it highlights when i click another it removes old highlight and goes to that one, i tried both right left and mouse click
i figured it out its shift, but i cant group things apart from eachother if i try to group something two slots down it groups everything above it if that makes sense
In the left corner where your toolbar is, where it says "Object Mode" and right down beneath it it says "Orientation", the box to the right that says "Drag", click on the down arrow that says "tweak" and change it to say "Active Tool" once this is done it should fix the problem and you should be able to move the light/camera normally in blender.
The tutorial helped me out a lot, and I've been playing around with Blender since However, I've run into an issue when trying to use a friend's avatar for this. Their avatar uses a different face from the default =) one, and Blender doesn't seem to recognize the face when exporting the avatar's assets. Any way to deal with that?
Hello! Just found this amazing video. Just wondering if I wanted to add a sword to the render would I just add it at the end or put it with the hats? (it’s not a thing I have on my avatar I would get it from Roblox studio)
I just went in roblox studio brought my guy in and i just copyed it and i went in blender and pasted it it might not work for you tho but it works for me
So I have an issue where my hats appear off to the side, away of my avatar rather than directly on it like your video shows. Do you know what could be causing this and/or how I can (perfectly) realign them?
You can select the hats and use the move and rotate tool to position the hats where it should be on the avatar. You can also spawn your character in roblox studio at r6 in the center to get it closer like I did 👍

so uh, how do i explain what just happened, im at 5:20 rn, and when i go into the 3rd viewport mode, everythings black, but the fourth shows my actual character, but "laggy" edit: so its just my computer? i dont know its just happening with all the rigs even without messing with them
@Jordan_Playz101YT It does take up quiet a bit of processing power to render in Cycles mode. To fix the lag you can go and render on Eevee but the shadow quality won't be as good. This should fix your problem though 👍
Big W man although i completely made it, i couldnt like move the lighting with my mouse idk why, so i put in the coordiantes. Tysm for making this the previous videos were outdated, also where can i put a cool background to it
Tried my best to make this video as updated as possible! As for the light not moving there's probably some random setting in Blender that's stopping it. When it comes to backgrounds, I usually add one when I throw everything in to Photoshop. You can either grab a screenshot from in game or try looking up a background on Google 👍
I need help! Whenever I put my texture for main texture, my face is always blank? I even tried to download the Roblox HD Faces and chose my face, but it is still blank.
Is there any models that has the same shading layouts for the blocky rig but with the female torso, or how can I add the female torso into the rigging without messing anything up on the model?
Let's say I'd want to have that very blocky R15 look, something not quite as smooth as this, how could i achieve that? Overall, this is a great tutorial, keep it up :]

Tip: Instead of trying to placethe character exactly on the ground you can the position to (0,3,0) it's the fastest and best way to do it

The only way is by searching one by one the items you are wearing on the catalog game, which is a tedious process, but is the only way

There's a face pack you can download along with the rig that you'll insert in the face texture area :)

@Greenfire2 I would recommend exporting the Sword separately and putting it into its own folder, then import it as a Wavefront .obj 👍

@Mejorell Use Eevee instead of Cycles if your pc is on the lower end. The lighting won't be as good but it will run smoother 👍
