I felt we didn’t give in and didn’t give up today, even in Race Two when I had an issue with my brake adjuster from the start. Generally when the brakes get up to temperature you have to make some adjustment. The lever was stuck, so braking with one finger meant that the lever was stuck between my fingers. I had a lot of arm pump trying to stop the bike.
While I was fighting with Bassani, when I was in his slipstream the system was overheating and the brake lever was coming back too much. Out of the slipstream it was manageable. That stopped me fighting with him. When I had some space I could just maintain my lap time.
In the Superpole Race in the morning I felt quite strong. Axel, in some areas, was under my feet a little bit. In some areas he was better than others but there was no area where I could pass.

Jhonny does not listen to what the newspapers write, they have distorted the most beautiful championship in the world to favour Ducati that pays and invests more than all. You have made the history of this sport by winning thanks to your talent and not thanks to an out of regulation bike that wins thanks to the straights. You are and will remain in history as the King of Sbk! Bautista on another bike would not arrive in the top 10 and if absurdly you would have to get on a Ducati at least give him 5 seconds a lap. Don't throw yourself down you have a lot of fans all over the world dreaming of seeing you run on the Kawasaki! Come on King Rea and come on Kawasaki! 💚💚

Dear Jonathan, when a 6X world champion tries his best to get a win or at least get into the top three but his main weapon is not strong enough, then hope remains hope unfulfilled.
It is clear that the whole KRT team is trying their best, hoping that for 2024 something better will come from the Akashi, just as Ducati did in 2023 with a big jump in horsepower and peripherals.
I can't believe that Kawasaki who only have a team in WSBK and not in MotoGP like Ducati, Yamaha, Honda don't use their huge resources to bring in a fresh stronger engine so they can be number 1 again. It's not only a matter of rpm.
A champion is not only the one who has the number 1, it is the one who does not back down. Remember what the Spartans did to the Persians :)
I stand with JR and KRT.
    Cheers from Athens, Greece :)

It’s not even the bike, it’s the restriction of RPM’s that Dorna did on Kawasaki because it’s the fastest bike on the grid vs the Ducati, Ducati has all the rpm’s to play with but Kawasaki gets hit with limited?!?! Once I saw how many ducatis were on the motogp grid I stopped watching… once Bautista joined Ducati and took the championship I just haven’t looked at Ducati the same and I use to adore them/work at a Ducati dealership lol

@@JTmoto no...they gave Kawasaki 250 revs back & decreased Ducati's by 250. So Kwackers now have 14,850 to Ducati's 15,850. It might seem like that's giving ylthe Kwackers the 500 revs back but it isn't the same....the 250 revs they still don't have back is 250 revs right at the top of the range which makes a big difference when talking about the small margins at the top of the sport. It would have helped Kawasaki more if they'd made Ducati stay at 16,100 revs and give the Kawasaki's back the 500 revs they had taken away giving them back the 15,100 they had before.

It's the same story repeating itself when one manufacturer is winning all the time just like when JR was on the zx10. Sometimes you've to give credit to the rider that's winning & making a difference on their respective machinery. Before it's JR, now it's Bautista. Let's not forget he's one of the oldest rider on the grid & he's the only 1 that brought home the championship since Checa. There's Melandri, Davies & Redding which all top notch riders, but fail to bring home the championship. Now there're Rinaldi, Bassani & Petrucci, are they riding & winning like Bautista?

Ducati is perceived as an aspirational premium brand offering the fastest, most desirable Superbike currently on the market. Superbikes are shrinking sector of the market so manufacturers are not keen to invest vast sums in new models for a diminishing return. This is a problem for the future of World Superbike., J.R. and Toprak now. Unfortunately the ZX is now old hat in WSBK terms and the Panigale looks like a Moto3 bike next to the big old ZX bus.Same old, same old though, because .......like when Honda dropped the RC30 bombshell back in the day.

A natural equaliser seem best just like we did in the early days of WSBK when multiple tire manufactures supplied race tires and winning all races in a season was unheard of. It also meant tyre manufacturers were all producing competitive tyres at competitive prices. Today we an artificial equaliser aka the performance balancing algorithm which is based on the evaluation of the performance of each manufacturer as a whole. Can we trust this new equaliser from influence and manipulation? We know cheating happens in motorsport all too often. Considering how the performance balancing algorithm works, it seem it is possible that a manufacturer could limiting the 2nd team bike and satellite bikes's performance in order to stop the Rev limits from being changed. Applying that to the current state of WSBK and WSSP where one Ducati rider is running away with the championship which is what Max Biaggi claimed Ducati did back in 2008!

To give Ducati some credit they have aligned there superbike to there Motogp bike and handed down the tech, that's smart business. Where does Kawasaki go from here, the problem is you throw more hp at it you suffer in other areas like we see Yamaha atm in GP, the fundamental issue is the v4s and the inline4s make there lap differently and unless all go V4 it's going to be business as usual,

Sorry Green lovers, but Rea never had any real comp when he won his Championships. Now that there are good riders , he will be lucky to smell a podium.

Amazing performance. You can't push any harder, it's time to push the corporation for a better package. If Kawasaki wants better results then they need to build stronger bike. It's lacking in power department, nothing else. Needs more power everywhere in the rev range. Good rider can adapt to suspension settings as well as tire characteristics, but without power there isn't any margin for error. Jonny the GOAT. C'mon Kawasaki, time to put heads together and build a monster that is worthy opponent of that motoGP derived missile...

but it is not only HP, with more HP you need a chassis where can handle the more power and you need a better aero to stop the Bike better and this are things where Kawasaki is years behind.

@@alengreen589 Frame is stiff enough, you can see that in straights where bike goes dead straight. Bikes that tend to speed wobble are those needing stiffer frame. Aero is overestimated and it provides very little benefit. Downforce helps with braking, somewhat, but dramatically slows bike down in high speed sections. Another thing is that for street homologated bikes they can't just put aero that would benefit the performance without considering road going legality. We can only speculate what would be best to do, but it definitely needs more to be competitive. Will see what they do. Read somewhere that Kaw is pulling out of Suzuka endurance to forcus on WSBK, so hopefully it brings positive results.
