James was never afraid of being Ghost tho…he was tired of being Ghost. He never wanted to be Ghost he HAD to. Riq chose to…he was fascinated by it. The fact that he can’t see that his Dad was holding everything and everybody down and the stuff he did was to continue doing that is insane. Dog literally kept being Ghost because his Wife and his co D couldn’t let the life go.

I think they introduced us to Zion this season so we can make connections in the power prequel. Like we may get to see a young Zion during his fitting days coming up.

It’s a great breakdown but I feel even you misinterpreted the scenes. The 1st Scene was the Civilian life that he thought he wanted. Out of the game, but his enemies (Kane) come back and kill him. The 2nd was playing both sides of the fence. One foot out, one foot in And him being killed by Diana for jeopardizing their family. The 3rd was if he’s all in then he goes down the path his father did and his son eventually continues the cycle by killing him. He then comes to the conclusion that the only way to avoid death which happens in all 3 scenarios is to “Control all the pieces on the board”.
I think this is another way to look at it as well
Zion could be D-Wiz brother from Book III & the leader of the RSK gang from the O.G power series..Their gang colors was green and Zion was wearing green in this past episode..I think the reason why Kanan had deep hatred towards that gang when he got out of jail is because ZION is probably the one who un-alived his moms in retaliation for the murder of D-Wiz...They never mentioned his name only to be known as "D-Wiz Brother who was a wild boy"..He could easily be Zion

I think Effie dies and that’s the funeral they go to. Diana ends up in a coma but she lost the baby. The actress that plays Effie said she didn’t like her outcome at the end and the actress that plays Diana said her ending is not completely ending but if they wanted to end her or bring her back they can choose. So what would be better than have her in a coma because she either wakes up or dies.

Monet's character is one the worst written in a very very long time. She takes no accountability, she doesn't know anything about her kids and she just stinks up every scene she's in. I don't think there's been an episode since season 1 where I genuinely thought she was remotely interesting. What makes it worse is the flashbacks which further ruins her already trash character.

The hallucination scene was just so cringy to me and I didn’t like it. It didn’t add any texture to the main story.
Like I said before Thought it was a good episode following last week... I thought Carter was going Tobe a HBO "We the City" type of cop and I was about right.... we got to see the NYC hierarchy and found out Caine out ranks Zion.... Drew makes up with monae at the same time ends up in carter's trick bag.... clarity on Diana's love life.... and with Caine whipping Zion tyreke has a possible ally against noma and Caine...I think this I'd to set the stage for an action packed second half!!!! Plus I think Detective Carter made a switch after his wife died and I think his way of policing is going to cause conflict with Kamal tate and I think Kamal with be killed by carter's team making governor tate to start playing a more gangster role to avenge his brother

I’m into psychedelics and when I seen this was titled “Ego Death” I knew it had some relation. I wish they went deeper into tho. It felt like it just came and went. Didn’t feel like it had a huge impact like an ego death truly has.
It was a lackluster episode for sure and anticlimactic for a mid-season finale for the last season for a series. Stark (pun intended) reminder that Raising Kanan is superior on the writing side

Just watched Power 6 episode 10 and I think Ghost is at Unk Gabe's place for sure. Remember he purchased if from him and we never saw him do anything with it. It wouldn't make any sense for him to go to a different state. Ghost has been in New York this entire time laying low until Tariq graduates (Main goal). For that to happen he had to get rid of some people and remove himself from the equation. He knew the longer he was around people would still come for him.
Ghost has been keeping tabs on Tommy’s mother's home from her ring camera. Effie has been watching Tariq to make sure he's staying out of trouble and he graduates college. Now it's getting closer for Tariq to graduate that's why we are seeing more Ghost signs.

WELL‼️This episode was MID bc it was never meant to be a mid-season finale for a 2-Part Season.
Book 2 was decided to have its final season AFTER the Hollywood Writers Strike! 😬 Michael Rainey lied when he said he knew the show was gonna end as if he knew the entire season.
They were on Episode 7 when the strike occurred. Which after ALLOT of shows got cancelled.🙂
So Episode 7 onward, they altered these episodes for the series to end. It'll be interesting how it pans out.
The season has been much better. The problem with Book 2 will always be hiring Mary J, Method Man and calling it Ghost. It should've been called "Book 2: Tariq" ..but just like this season, they never planned for spin-offs until after Season 5 of Book 1, which is why Ghost character was altered to portray a man who built up enemies. Tariq's hatred for Ghost was not justified to kill him ..as he's also juggling side chicks and drugs.
Ghost was trying to break good, not break bad ..and his family was his downfall . Not his downfall for having Kids or a Family, but having a unsupportive degenerate wife who lost it all and sent Tariq down this path.😂🗑️
Courtney Kemp attempted to Disgrace and Replace Omari Hardwicks Ghost & paint a "toxic masculinity" narrative about him, when he spent 5 seasons trying to make his family safe. He was never 1 foot in the game, 1 foot out ..his wife kept him in💩 and never believed in him. Now the writers strike stuff I didn't know about but I agree MRJ didn't know about it being the final season at the time. You are on target with the shift around Season 5-6 of Book 1, it's so glaringly obviously, I don't know why more people don't see that! It was a huge tonal shift in character to fit that narrative. I really think EFFIE is working with Ghost in some sort because first: she magically pops up to his school then texting someone saying "He's out of work". I think Ghost knows his son better than anyone. To stay under the radar Ghost sent Effie to watch over Tariq the whole entire time. Remember, when Ghost said "Keep thinking you smarter than me" that was a sign then when Ghost started to plan his next move. That's why he stayed after the club was over with, plus he needed an escape plan and Ghost lady knew about the plan also. That's why the whole entire night was weird. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SCENE WITH TARIQ IN THE CLUB REPEATING WHAT HIS FATHER TOLD HIM. I THINK THEY HITTING AT TARIQ NEVER SHOT GHOST. SECOND: EFFIE TEXTED TARIQ ABOUT CANE WAAS COMING TO KILL HIM. THEY WANT US TO THINK IT'S ABOUT LOVE BUT IT'S REALLY GHOST TRYING TO KEEP HIM ALIVE UNTIL THE END. @itsjustb

l’ve realized that every player gets to be one foot in and one foot out. No one is 100% in the game because at the end of the day we civilians otherwise the police would always have wins if people were never one foot in and one foot out. Who don’t want to have a girl or wife even Tommy who says gangster or civilian wants Mireya. You have family that’s makes you a civilian and vulnerable whether you like or not. This is why Carter says take each other out and leave civilians (those with no ties to to the game)

One, you have gone on and watched the upcoming scenes and you go back and forth in your idealism! Thing is the writing of these last couple of episodes has been somewhat not very artistic (flat)! The writers have been going back n forth in introducing new characters for no apparent reasoning! Only to have them killed off! And, has made Cane, Monet and Noma as invincible opponents of Tariq! In this day and age, it is so sickening to see the narrative that the majority of movie writers are sending that women are the real gangstas! When we see that they are nothing without these men to protect them! Nomes plays both Cane and Davis, which will lead to Cane killing Davis (they try to sneak in there that Davis is playing both sides)! But, that is not the real! It is all over a woman! 😂😂 Tariq is only using Anya to keep Noma occupied until he figures out how to get rid of her! Now, they have Tariq sharing with Anya that Noma killed her dad and used him to do it! Cane drawing on Tariq holding his child and Cane’s nephew and pulling the trigger! Dirty Diana doing the same bc of the baby! I saw Cane shoot out the glass but not Tariq! Then, you show us a clip of Tariq standing in this room with several walls full of product! 😂😂 I hate when all of these power fans can get a glimpse of the next few episodes! You all need to keep that mess to yourselves! It takes the suspense out of waiting two months bc now you know what to expect! And, your version were all over the place in explanation! They are going to kill Dru, Zion, Effie, Carter and Davis! Then, what of Diana, Monet, Noma, Tasha, Tariq and Brayden?

Power book 2 is so bad bro. I used to like it until season 2 now all it has become is a boring uninspired drama who relies on shock value to keep the viewers entertained. Tariq as a character hasn't learnt anything or changed and the dude just suddenly became a stone cold killer with ridiculous plot armour. How many people will this guy kill without getting caught or investigated? Cane is a decent character but the writers can't seem to make their mind up on whether he should be smart, or stupid. Dru is a decent character who fell off after season 2. Diana was interesting up until season 2 where she literally has nothing interesting to do or say. I severely hate Effie as a character. She has nothing redeeming about her. She's quite literally one of the most selfish characters in the series and she may have been if monet didn't exis. Monet is such a badly written character that I don't even know what to say about her. All of the "connects/drug lords" are so flat with no real personality or aura that makes them unique or stand out. The show rides the coat tails of the better written, more interesting show that was power book 1. Not to say I'm not surprised by the heavy fall off as book 1 season 6 wasn't that great either.
Calling the show ghost and if ghost doesn’t show up in the last 5 ep this show is a failure.
Tariq is a joke they didn’t want to pay Omari and we got this shit show for 4 seasons. Season 3 was good but this season is dumb.
