Now, that was a great review. Erecting the tent properly, explaining each section clearly and concisely. Made the vid very enjoyable. I have this tent already. It is a beaut! Thank you.
Very good review! I am using Hilleberg tents for bike touring, but I am looking for a UL tent for bike packing in order minimise weight for gravel tours, this one may be a good choice... Thanks a lot for sharing this, keep the good work!
Thanks for the comment, and glad this was helpful! Let us know if you have any questions or if we can help as you close in on preparing and gearing up for your gravel tours. We rent these tents too if you want to try it out for a tour and see if it meets your expectations for the long haul. Cheers!
I’m using this tent have been for a while now. The version that produces a porch using a pole is the one to get. It’s the latest version. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, but £400 ish.
I’d like to see that BA ground sheet with the Copper Spur. Not fast pitch but with the full tent. I have it and paid $$ for it & it doesn’t makes sense
Hi Dan, thanks for your comment. Can you help clarify? Are you asking if we can do a demonstration of the bike packing footprint? Are you looking for insight on the extra size/vestibule wings on the bike pack footprint? We can add that to our list of future videos and I do think that could help people use the bike pack footprint and help decide which one one to purchase.
Doesn’t make sense? Why? I peg it down first, at the corners, then the tent inner onto the same pegs. Then you’re away. The frame fits in etc. It is a very expensive piece of ground sheet, but if it protects the floor of your expensive tent? I’m not sure by your ‘doesn’t make sense’ comment.
