Salt pepper garlic powder onion powder parsley flakes Maggie pollo powder. Better than bullion chicken base
Water chicken broth
2 caps vinegar
Lipton onion soup mix 2 packets
1 can cream mushroom soup
Reames frozen noodles

I cook mines in a pressure cooker 10 to 15 min with a bit of garlic salt and blk pepper only, once there super soft then I add the veggies or whatever you want to add that way my seasonings won’t get lost. Gizzards are very versatile thanks for sharing 👍🏼

Yes, Gina, yesterday it snowed good, but it melted down as it came down. But i was happy about that and we also have some more in a couple days the weather says also. Our Walmart where we went that had 5,000 to 6,000 people is out of a lot of stuff as sanitize stuff and toilet paper and paper towels and bleach. Un believable. Found toilet paper at Dollar General and stocked up but they were low on stock. I read the reason for toilet paper shortage is because of the coronavirus. 16 states so I read have closed their schools.

It was in the mid fifties today and all week it should be the same. We had a very mild winter here in South Jersey. I don't know why we all say South Jersey like it's a separate state than North Jersey but I think some people feel that way for whatever reason .😂 Anyway we had no snow this year. I never had chicken Gizzards or at least not that I remember. My grandmother had 13 kids and she made a lot of meals that would stretch out for everyone ! The boys even would go hunting for rabbit and squirrel ! Not much meat on them but she would make due by making stews ,soups,pasta and beans. There was always bread on the table in case you didn't get full enough 😊 ....I will definitely try this recipe !

Oh wow Gina I think we both were thinking alike because I made Chicken back and gizzard stew yesterday!! I added potatoes to mine and made a slurry with flour to slightly thicken my gravy and I served it with rice. I'm going to try your recipe using noodles next time.

Interesting! We've only fixed gizzards in the Giblet gravy at Thanksgiving time, so this will have to be on the list to try! I didn't see the noodles you used/recommended in the list under the description. What kind were they again? We always have egg noodles, so we can use those as a substitute. Thanks for sharing your Grandmother's recipe. We learn so much from our parents and grandparents!

Is not bad because is yellow, remember that's the stomach of the chicken. All of them have it they just take it out but sometimes they missed. I don't used them either but we have to clean those chicken gizzards very good like you do. Thanks for the recipe.
