- In today's vlog we try to make our favorite in park Disney snack, CHEESEBURGER EGGROLLS! You guys have been sending us recipes to try and we decided to try it today! We took a few recipes and mashed them together and added some things to make it our own. We really really liked the outcome, they tasted just like the real Disney eggrolls. We were so excited! We hope you liked the vid and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!
Ingredients:
1lb. ground beef
1/2 white onion diced
1/2 cup dill pickle diced
4oz. velveeta cheese
1 slice sharp cheddar cheese
1-2 TBSP yellow mustard
couple shakes of Worcestershire sauce
1 package eggroll wrappers
1 cup vegetable oil for frying
salt and pepper to taste
The recipe below is from allrecipes.com but I changed the ingredients that we added in our version.
Place the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat, and cook and stir for about 10 minutes, breaking up the beef into crumbles as it cooks. Drain the meat and put it back in the pan and add the velveeta cheese. Then transfer to a bowl. Stir in the chopped pickles, Worcestershire sauce and mustard, and mix together well.
We lined our counter with parchment paper. Place a bowl of water next to your work surface. Remove an egg roll wrapper from the stack, and cover the remaining wrappers with a damp paper towel to prevent them from drying out.
Place the wrapper on the work surface with a corner facing towards you. Place about 1/4 cup of filling on the wrapper, and fold the top corner down over the filling. Tightly roll the wrapper into a cylinder, tucking in the corners as you roll, until the wrapper completely encloses the filling. Moisten the last corner with a little water, and finish wrapping so the moistened corner tightly seals to the egg roll, and there are no gaps to let the filling leak out.
Heat the oil in a deep saucepan or deep fryer until a thermometer registers 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Carefully place 2 or 3 egg rolls at a time into the hot oil, and fry for about 4 or 5 minutes, turning the egg rolls over once, until golden brown. Remove the egg rolls with a tongs, and drain on paper towels.

I love the Tracker Test Kitchen, could this become a new periodic vlog from time to time? Trying to recreate favorite park foods? Yum!!!
Jordan B H do you know when the NBA Expierience is opening?
Jordan B yessss
absolutely agree!!!! Holy Macaroni!!!
Alexander Henching I'm not sure, I don't live in the Orlando area sadly :(
Alexander Henching There's no confirmed opening date. The Disney Quest building hasn't even been demolished yet.
How can anyone "thumbs down" this video? Pleasant people making delicious food is the most inoffensive thing around. Kudos for a great video!
You guys should do more cooking videos!!
I 100% agree
Kadence Lohry Do you know when the NBA Experience is going to open?
Alexander Henching sorry no. I don't even know what that is! I live in California not Florida.
I suggest using a larger square "spring roll" wrapper. It's commonly used in Filipino Lumpia (eggrolls). I used to make a ton of these. Gives a crispier bite and can fit a good portion. Not usually found at Publix. Usually found at an asian, oriental, or Filipino market. You can make your CB eggrolls in bulk and freeze them for future frying.
Agree with ^...I just looked at some vlogs and they are springrolls! Def try the springroll wrappers instead of eggroll! :)
The more I have watched your videos, the more I really like Jen. Not that Tim is not great, but Jen has a beautiful energy. Inside and out!
Our lical farmers market sells those egg rolls. Have to get some now.
omg the way jen's face lit up after her first bite of the finished product just made my night!!! you guys are the best
You should make this a mini-series! "At Home Disney Delectables" cooking all of your favorite eats from Disney in the comfort of your home! Awesome video, really enjoyed.
I love cooking and I make egg rolls all the time at home which makes me want to try this recipe! Some tips that might help you for next time:
-Fry your egg rolls in a large pot with enough oil so that the egg rolls can basically float. With frying them in a shallow pan the egg rolls will not only cook from the hot oil but also from the heat of the pan that they end up resting on. This can cause issues like you had with the first batch.
-I have found over time that when putting your seal (water, egg wash, etc. I personally like egg wash as it is stickier) on the wrapper put it on the edges of half the wrapper instead of just the one corner. This will help hold a better seal and help to make the egg rolls more pretty.
-Finally if you ever fry anything and don't know what to do with the oil at the end...you can reuse it! If what ever your'e frying didn't make the oil dirty, which egg rolls usually don't, you can wait for the oil to cool down and then save it for next time. As long as you don't have an abundance of chunks of food left over in your oil it is reusable a few more times.
Mjason44 thanks for the tips
You should try the grey stuff! It's delicious 😍 I love you guys, hope I see you when I go next year 💕
Here during coronavirus getting ready to make these in isolation
Sydney Purifoy Same!
Same here with my family. Stay safe!
Guys I absolutely love watching you in your home environment. I swear you two are the perfect couple. Keep doing more of the home and every day living blogs. Keep up the good work! :)
Loved the interaction of the two of you trying to cook ! Hilarious loved it
Hey Jen and Tim, those cheeseburger eggrolls looked really good. I think you guys should make more cooking videos by making other disney world snacks (like the jalapeno pretzels!!) and universal ones too. Luv your vids!!!
I love when you guys cook together! Goals!
Hey partners you need more oil so the egg rolls float in the pan and you're not supposed to touch the bottom of the pan when checking the temperature 😉👌🏻
Agreed. You should use a deeper pot. You can get a thermometer that you can clip to the side of the pot, and it will suspend the thermometer in the oil.
Also, use a utensil like tongs or a mesh skimmer to put in and take your eggrolls out of the oil.
Probably should be using a deep fryer.
Can't wait to try these out. Loved them when we visited the park in 2015 and have looked for them everytime since.
you know what would go well with that? Mulan Szechuan Sauce!
please do these more often!! i love you guys on camera together ugh its the cutest
This could be a cool series, where you guys try to recreate theme park foods.
Holy awesomeness! My kids are going to LOVE these. If you want an easy "is the oil ready" test, stick the tip of a (clean) wooden spoon handle into your hot oil. It's ready when the oil bubbles up around the spoon.
Omg your makeup is so prettyyyyt!!!!!!
Both
My mom and two of her co workers made these. They made them exactly as the recipe says and gave them a 10 out of 10. Especially with the mayo ketchup dipping sauce. Yum! My mom doesn't even like relish, but you could hardly taste it. Thanks for this video, as we now have a new favorite recipe.
Tim and Jen we just watched your egg roll video. You guys are so cute! I highly recommend you guys do lots more cooking! Keep up the awesome work! Love from Melbourne, Australia xx
Pippa Virag omg how did you think of the exact same thing and also from the same place as me! Hello from Australia!
Dinner tonight! Ever since I have started watching your videos I have wanted to try these. I'm SOOOO excited!!
Yes! Cheeseburger Egg-rolls FTW! A hidden gem! Wish they'd come back full blown!
Track test kitchen should become a new vlog 🙂 should make some recipes from disney and put your own twist to it! I loved this video!
I LOVE when u guys do cooking videos! I am absolutely going to make them! Thank you SO much! Love u guys!
Will definately be trying these. As many times as you've talked about these, I feel it's something we need to try. I think my boys would like them.
I am wondering what to use instead of velveeta cheese as I have never heard of that here in the Uk. I think a deeper pan to fry in would be better so the rolls can float in the oil too.
You two guys have fun together and that is very refreshing to see. Great video and food👍🏻👍🏻
I love that I vicariously got to be in the cheeseburger egg roll process via music. Also, I'm willing to be an unbiased taste tester. Looked amazing!!
Can you guys adopt me
We are so going to try to make this. Super yummy. Thank you Tim and Jen for sharing this recipe. We love you guys so much. Xo
Will definitely try those! Y'all do great together in the kitchen!! Y'all are awesome!!!
Who else's eyes watered when they cut up the onions?
Please do more Disney recipe cooking videos, I really enjoyed this. You guys make a fantastic cooking team!
It's 9am and I'm drooling over cheeseburger eggrolls! I have to try this SOON.
Those look perfect!!! and the best thing is you can wrap them in wax paper and keep them in the fridge until you are ready to fry them... I prefer deepfry usually yield a crispier less oilly roll
I would love for more Disney recipe videos! Those egg rolls look pretty darn tasty!
Hail Hypnotoad
Lol
Nothing like getting out of work to see a brand new tracker vid!
I love how sweet you guys are together. #couplegoals You get each other and make each other laugh. I think that's why you guys are so popular because you are yourselves. Those eggrolls look and sound amazing! And I've never had Disney Cheeseburger Eggrolls but yummy!!! Thanks for being guinea pigs.
I cannot wait to make these, they look scrumptious! Thanks Trackers!
Great idea for a video! It would be awesome to see more Disney recipes that can be made at home.

Thank you so much for this vlog. Those egg rolls look delicious. I think I'm going to surprise my wife with them one of these nights. I like the idea of this being a periodic vlog. Those looked so good.
I absolutely love love love how perfect you guys are in the kitchen. you measure everything and use a thermometer, ever since I started cooking I've always been told to just eyeball it. 😂😂😂
We have done this in the family for years now. Add banana peppers.....makes them incredible.
Yes to more tracker test Kitchen please hope to see you in the parks in September x
I'm going to make them for my family this weekend! I can't wait!

Jen, you are always stunning, but for some reason in this video your beauty just SHINED. Maybe it was the way you did your makeup this day but my goodness, I can't get over it!! Your eyes look so blue!
Love watching your videos, you guys are full of energy 👍
They look so yummy!! I think I want to try making them this weekend! Thanks for the recipe
I made them with tortillas, but I just toasted them. It was still really good. So if your allergic to the egg rolls like I am, toasted tortillas make a great substitute! Love you guys
Just made this recipe. I changed the yellow mustard to spicy mustard. And made them into mini sloppy burgers. It's really good. Thanks for the video!!!!!
Those looked really good! I'll have to tell my hubby and daughter and try them this week.
My mouth is watering!!!! I NEED To try these. Hopefully sometime this week I will try them!!
I loved this video! It would be great to see more at home Disney food videos!

I am so excited to see this !!!! I can't wait to make these ! Yay!!
Your egg rolls look delicious! I never heard of cheeseburger egg rolls! I gotta try this recipe! Thanks for posting!
My kids will loves these! Definitely gonna make them tomorrow
I have never tried these at the parks, but I will definitely try these at home. That's a fairly simple recipe and I have all the ingredients. I will use dill pickle relish so I don't have to cut up pickles, but otherwise will follow your lead. Thanks.
This is one of my favorite episodes!!
Those look so yummy! My husband and I are going to make these for dinner! Thank you for the great idea 😀
Your so right Jen, always make recipes your own! Yall both did it 😉 Loved this video and totally miss these. Understand the space though. Love you guys!
Thanks for sharing and for making me so hungry!!!!!
This was so fun! We're going to try to make them on Saturday! Thumbs up to the Tracker Test Kitchen!
So cool! I'm glad this makes you guys so happy. By the way, I cook all the time and Jenn, you were right about the drop of water sizzling on the pan meaning that it's ready. Whenever I cook on the stove, I run my fingers under the sink and then splash the water on the pan. If it sizzles, then the pan is ready! And it's not scary, Tim!
I haven't even tried the ones in the park and I already know I'll be making these at home!
Please do more videos like this!!! I love it!!
Love the Tracker Test Kitchen!! I'm definitely going to try it!
Those looked so yummy I decided to make them for dinner tonight. They are great! Thanks!

Future Chelsey here! (Ha)
This popped up and I just so happen to be making cheeseburger eggrolls for dinner tonight! So I watched this throwback!
I have perfected these and my family loves them! Even make a yummy sauce to go with them! And from time to time, switch up between eggroll and spring roll wrappers!
Cheers🍳🍣
You guys did great, this was fun! 😊
They look so good! Definitely need to try these at home!
Team Tracker did it!! Nice job guys! Yeah Velveta is good for melting consistently. and I love the idea of the strip of the cheese. Let's Call it The Tracker Cheese Burger Roll! You will need an thermometer specifically made for oil. Seems like you've got a Meat Probe. a Better bet is to get a small appliance Deep Fryer with a basket. You can keep the oil in there for a few time to fry.
Definitely going to have a go at making these next weekend 👍🏻 🤤🤤🤤
so glad they turned out awesome!!!! Jenn and tim you should try making more Disney food !
Totally going to try making these this weekend
I Definitely want to make these. Will post finished product. Yum!
I made them! Thank you! I wish I could post pictures here. They were amazing!
Nice job guys!!! I never try it at the parks. For sure we will made it
