I'm having problems connecting my HP chromebook to my brother printer HL-L2395DW . Which of your videos can I view? It prints but it takes sometimes 15 to 30 minutes for print job to come out. Can you help me? Thanks RayN.
I don't have any videos on specific printer models. I would start by removing the printer and re-adding it to your Chromebook. Make sure you select the correct model when setting it up. If it doesn't work, try picking a different model to see if that makes a difference.
Any chance we could get more details on how the printer is available to the users. I have the networked printer shared with the top organizational unit, and I have the Chrome browser token added and recognized in added devices. How do I find the printer and use it? I have clicked "see more" in the print dialogue's "destination" but the networked printers don't show. ???
Yes, the printers should appear under "see more" for users who have access. I have only tested this on Chromebooks, not managed Chrome browsers, but I imagine the process is the same.
@@jrsowash Thanks for replying! I did everything correctly, as far as I can tell, yet the printers never showed under the "See more" link. I eventually just gave up.
@@douggjoseph same issue here, printers wont show and when I choose ”manage” (as a user) and try to add more printers it asks for the clientinstalled printers
Hi, very helpful this video. we are using Canon LBP151-CloudPrinter , After December 31, 2020, Google Cloud Print will no longer be supported. Give me any solution.
We set up our printer on my account( owner) and it works great. We set up my husband’s account the very same way and when the printer view opens it just spins and spins and does not have a choice to print as a pdf. The guest does have this choice.
Great video! Strggled with the "provisioning" and so this was a great help!
Can you do a vid on adding a windows print server. Users are printing big jobs that the copiers cant process fast enough.
This video is so useful. Cloud you make a video about the “must have policies for BYOD Chromebooks” ?
(I mean the Policies from Google admin console)
Great idea! I'll see what I can do!
Exremely useful. Could you talked about choosing a proper printer driver (if not present in admin console)?
My experience is that if you don't see your printer model listed it's probably not supported by Chrome OS.
@@jrsowash thanks

used support ticket today, the printers only work for managed devices, eg Chromebooks, eg it does not work for a mac or pc with Chrome-browser
@@Mehmehx is this true? It cannot be used through Chrome browser without Chromebook?

Cannon adv ii c5540 is not an option how do I add that?
If a printer isn't listed try picking the closest one that you can find.
I think there is a generic option as well that might work.

I would recommend removing the printers from your husband's account. Then, reinstall it. This happens to me sometimes too.
l still can not print the ip address from my printer
You'll have to check with your printer manufacturer to see if it's compatible with Chromebooks.
I love how Windows work with printers... 👎 Chrome OS for external hardwares...
