Can you turn a twig stove into a Trangia and swap out those twigs for a spirit burner?

So what do you do with a twig stove when you have no twigs?
Turn it into a multi fuel stove by considering burning alcohol with a cheap a cheap spirit burner ... Just make sure its close to your pot and it will boil water
I tested the theory on a frozen lake minus 9 or more it worked I boiled water and made tea !!!
