Casio must refine the software, the app is slow, full of advertising, no changelog for the updates. Great job casio. Fortunately I don't have to worry about updates with my g-shock watches.

I already have the older version gwg-1000-1a3er, I was thinking about the newer models but I'm not decided yet, since this one is working fine. I think în this smart, fitness category, garmin is better, the new rangeman gpr -h1000 is almost the same like this gbd-h2000, only the case is different, with the mud resistant buttons. My wife bought me a protrek watch for my birthday, the prw-6900y, very interesting design with all the functions of my mudmaster, solar and multiband 6, triple sensors, steel bezel, great alternative even if it's not a g-shock.
Maybe in a couple of years Casio could put some wi-fi at the watch, and charge some subscription if you want to make an update. Did someone explained what will happen if some drunken Casio engineer write a few wrong lines in the update folder, will it kill every updated watch in the world? That would be funny 😁😁😁. ''Updated'' future is very bright I must say. With all that big effort to make an update, they could put a little effort to make a positive screen, at least like a choice in the menu.

Does it introduce tide graph and backlight off when there is good light? Presently the light comes on on every button press even in sunlight. And good solar charging
While in home screen or regular time screen, keep BACK button pressed until you see a musical note at the top of the screen where the small symbols appear. That will put the watch in mute mode. The sounds will not be played but vibration will remain The backlight will stop turning itself on on every press so It will only light up when pressing light button
I only had to restart the app once and it was at the beginning.

Two Weeks ago I updated my DW-H5600, it dit not told me what we were updating. I was expecting more excersices or some kind of battery optimization. Maybe a Timer/Stopwatch update.... I think Casio just straight hates smartwatches and users

This fitness watch was more helpful than I expected for getting in shape. But yes I agree with you that the regular watches are better.

You’ll have to buy the premium plus package to use all your gshock features.
A watch that needs to be updated is not a watch I would like to have or own.

Updated but no idea what the update entailed. A ridiculous chore!
My wife updated her DWH5600 and said it seemed more responsive. But that’s subjective. I don’t have any clear info on what changed.
