I really like this Sony VCR, but the picture quality wasn't what I was expecting. I have had cheaper VCR with better picture quality. It might just be my TV.
You can get better cleaning results by folding up a clean piece of white paper, soaking the paper with alcohol, and gently hold soaked pad on drum - turn the drum counterclockwise (I believe that's the direction the drum turns when it plays) to minimize chances of damage.
Oh man, I was just getting interested in the movie and you turned it off😂 Finding a decent VHS player anymore is very rare. People just throw them out for blu-ray players. We still have 2 players at the house and they both need repairs, but I'm not gonna give up on them.

I just got a couple dozen Star Trek (TOS) vhs today ... FREEEEE ... they also had just as many Next generation but left them

There are movies out there that not on DVD so it's good to have one around.
@@RetroGamingWithHopper I have an adapter to convert VHS to AVI so I can preserve some stuff I have recorded years ago.
Help please I have the same exact vcr it was working fine but now it starts then the tape stops and it shows those numbers 60109
