Thank you for posting your videos! You really inspire us engineering students. I personally am interested in working at Space X or NASA, but I know of a lot of people that are studying mechanical engineering and wonder if they can work in the “tech” industry in Apple, Google, and companies as such. This is a very important and interesting video, I’ll sent it to them.
most meches will not be working in the IT industry, rather will be in automobile, aviation/aerospace, power plants/power generation, or manufacturing related jobs
Do you ever have time to just lay back and play games with the homies in ur recent job. And did u also have time to play games like COD with ur friends sometimes?
I love engineering but it wasn’t paying the bills, a lot of companies like to hire on a project by project basis, atleast that’s how it was in the early 00’s, I was broke asf, I went back to school for nursing and I was earning more after 3 years as a registered nurse than I ever made as an engineer. It’s more stressful but I love the social aspect & I get a lot of respect from the docs for being an engineer lol! Not that it matters but it’s because they understand the academic struggle. I’ll say this, if you ever get tired of engineering or it no longer becomes profitable for you, medicine is a great option provided you pick the field that’s best for you, lastly, the nurse anesthetist field would suit alot of people with an engineer’s mindset, it’s filled with a lot of problem solving, science, diagnostics & it pays very, very well, and employment is not an issue.
Idk bout him but I’m a small time engineer for a decent sized company the majority of my time is spent in 3d and 2 cad which the software we use would be auto cad and Autodesk inventor
