What an amazing composer Haydn is. Especially when played tastefully and beautifully, with the right touch. Very difficult to do with Haydn and played with the kind of expertise that lulls one into thinking it's easy, because it's so right. Wonderful stuff!

Haydn is so much more creative than Mozart, and people forget about him. This sonata is a MUST to play. So charming.

he is wonderful and incredibly versatile and hilarious and exciting and rigorous and vigorous and balanced and crazy and underrated!!! but it's completely silly to call him "more creative than Mozart"

@@aaa-hw2ty some few sonatas of him are very wild. Some has pontilhism, a very modern technique.

I appreciate the publisher's acknowledgment that the second movement is in sonata form but with no repeats. There is a double barline at the end of the exposition. I mention this only because I remember that there was no such barline in the middle movement of the F-major sonata (No. 44, Hob. XVI:29).

I have to assume it's an edition thing. I've only very rarely seen people _add_ repeats to a piece in performance when they weren't written in by the composer.

Top notch performance. I'm actually amazed by the way you followed the written staccato/legato indications throughout, specially appreciate them in the recapitulation (1st mov)... not all performers do... imo it's the little details such as these that make up to a perfect performance. Bravo. Immediately subscribed.
The only constructive observation I have, if you allow me, is that I'd suggest you consider upgrading the quality of the audio and video, it would make your videos even more enjoyable.
Amazing nonetheless. Congratulations, and best wishes looking forward.

The first movement is bustling with the joy of creation; it's like a warm glue gun! The second is a wonder-wander around the fresh new world that leads to the feastful discovery of joy in life's natural periodicity appearing in the third and last movement
