Chris is the one who wants to sell cars with top notch repairs and super conditsion. Chris is not a handy man but a real craftsmen. He was absolutely right. He did not want to lose his good name on this ...............!!
What is good about the channel is it shows the good and bad. The car was bashed about and just shows that some people who think profit is so easy can see that even professionals don’t always get it right. It just shows auctions can be unpredictable. Enjoyed the video though chaps.👍 I’m sure your recoup the loss very quickly
Missed opportunity - these are still good news on the used market and with a good used door and front wing fitted and with it being unrecorded it could have netted a tidy profit after some smart repairs to the plastics. Thought Chris was a little bit too negative on this one.
Rob u can see in Chris face that he wasn't happy at all about that car, but the part I did enjoy when u had a go and pulled out the dent in the n/s/f wing and u smashed it mate. I would like to see u have a go when Chris is pulling out a dent and u have a go again with Chris supervising you doing it mate. Keep up with the good work from Rob the Welsh boy 👍🖐️🏴🏴
Chris' enthusiasm at the beginning of that vid told you all you needed to know. If that was clean with no damage it would still be a pile of crap in my opinion. Can't see what people see in them but there's enough of them around so some people obviously have a penchant for them.
I’m fairly certain that this video will win back your loss for you, not just in RUclips fees but as a shining example of your honesty and integrity - this video proves that your name *means* something.
The complete honesty of all SRUK content is admirable as always. Enjoyed the motor trade for 20 + years and made good money however never assume it is easy. Some you win, some you loose. Also worth noting is the cost of running a business such as this, premises with the correct planning consent, rent, business tax, tax on profit, comprehensive insurance, recovery truck and probably 30k in professional tools at least. Respect to Rob and Chris,
Rob. Chris knew the score from the start but decided you needed to learn for yourself and that's no bad thing . And l don't blame you for your ideals but Rob , Chris's skills are so top drawer he knows what it takes (in labour) to achieve the end result . You know how to buy , analise , cost , find and sell . That's why as a team you're are where you are . DON'T CHANGE IT !! 💞💞
I think the screws all around would have scared off people, made it look doctored for the auction. But worth a try, was interesting to see that selling on Copart is a big gamble too.
I think you sold it at the right price, but bought it at the wrong one. It should have been no more than £1,000 to the seller but you were swayed by their outstanding finance, which wasn’t your problem. Lots of lessons in there, especially the unpopularity of older diesels.
Rob you've been in the trade a long time and you go with your 'gut feeling'. You did a good job polishing it and you did a good job on the front wing so you can't be disappointed, You know auctions can be a gamble so you took a chance. As you say think positive. Someone will be happy with that car. Thanks Rob and Chris for sharing another episode of SRUK. 👍👍
Love the video’s lads but ive got to say i was more than surprised when you said you had paid £2k for that. I was expecting you to say you had paid a 3 figure sum.
Another great video guys. You are honest with your subscribers and honest to yourselves. I like Chris’s attitude “would we want to put our name to that car” You too are the best, totally genuine guys working and making a living in the real world. Unlike other American Bros RUclipsrs ( you know who I mean) you can sell your cars because you’ve down a proper job of each repair. As Rob says , sometimes you win sometimes you lose. This and the boat video have been 2 of your best for completely reasons. Cheers Gordon
Rob, rather than say a vehicle is a 65 reg can you please say the actual year. Subscribers here in New Zealand or any other country do not know what year vehicle a 65 reg is. Good honest video as you said you can't win them all. Take care, regards Howard
65 =2015 September to March UK new registration year used to start 1 August. New system since 2000 Starts now in September with half year March to August. Noughty years used 5 as half year so 01/51, 02/52. So not to use 5 again teen years use 6 so 10/60, 11/61, 12/62----15/65!? Twenties use 7 for half year so 20/70, 21/71, 22/72, 23/73 and 24 will be next reg starting this September 😮
Chris was not at all happy. You could tell that this video was not a fake. Well done Salvage Rebuilds for showing how it is some you win some you lose.😢
I personally thought it was a good project, Rob,and a good drive about and repair as you use, plus it made video material, and it's amazing what a good wash and polisher will do
Quick tip - if you do get polish/compound on black plastic, buy an eraser/rubber and rub it over the plastic and it removes the compound. I didn’t believe it until I tried it, and it works like magic!
If my son was old enough to drive I think this would be perfect as a car to learn in and use after his test. If he added another couple of dent and scrapes it doesn't matter
Hi Rob and Chris, it's all part of your game, that's what makes the videos interesting. Could on the day have made a few quid, it didn't so its gone, good content, and loads more in the pipeline. Tbh, I like it when you buy different stock like this, and then we see it play out. Alex.
Nice video, if it makes you feel any better I am 90% done with my clutch and new gearbox change on my driveway. Not a nice job but I have enjoyed the experience 😅
Enjoyed that . Shows that the business changes and someone somewhere needs to take a risk. But the risk , when it comes off , can be rewarding. The co-part buyer will make a bit on it quickly.
Little bit cheaper and this is the perfect car for someone whos just getting into the game and doing a few cars from home. Like you say, drive about in it while the panels come up in the right colour at the right price. Couple of evenings after work swapping them over on the drive, and theres an extra weeks wages to have our of it. Youre right in seeing the potential, but chris is right that you've got better ways to use your time with the capabilities you have as a business.
Hello Rob, Chris wasn't over excited lol.but with time and a car wash it has turned out alot better to sell on.the DA has made a difference to the paintwork.
You can heard Chris’s disappointment with Rob desperately trying to sell the idea into him…. Love you both but it’s a pig with lipstick….. As Chris said, you can’t polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter….😂
I don't know much about Nissan jukes, but nothing wrong with a tatty car if mechanically sound for a new driver. I bought my son a similarly tatty Polo which he keeps on the street and doesn't have to worry about bodywork damage. Enjoyed this video, hope you get a little profit from RUclips!
The frustration in Chris' voice is there for all to see, not for the first time either. Hope Rob can see the writing on the wall before it's too late.
Brought Chris back to reality after that boat. 😂
Didn’t it just lol 👍
Ups and downs… God gives with one hand and… :)
Chris is a diplomatic man 😂😂😂
Never seen Chris as happy as the other day with the boat and as unhappy today with this chitty chitty bang bang haha
Chris is the one who wants to sell cars with top notch repairs and super conditsion. Chris is not a handy man but a real craftsmen. He was absolutely right. He did not want to lose his good name on this ...............!!
Don’t think Chris was overly impressed tbh 😂😂
What is good about the channel is it shows the good and bad. The car was bashed about and just shows that some people who think profit is so easy can see that even professionals don’t always get it right. It just shows auctions can be unpredictable. Can't knock your enthusiasm and positivity Rob. Chris was lukewarm to that car throughout lol.
Missed opportunity - these are still good news on the used market and with a good used door and front wing fitted and with it being unrecorded it could have netted a tidy profit after some smart repairs to the plastics. Thought Chris was a little bit too negative on this one.
No amount of you cheeky chappy enthusiasm.
Was going to get Chris started on that Shed. 😂😂
Rob u can see in Chris face that he wasn't happy at all about that car, but the part I did enjoy when u had a go and pulled out the dent in the n/s/f wing and u smashed it mate. Chris didn't want to even touch the keys nevermind the car.😂
I agree with Chris, no enthusiasm for it broken or otherwise 😂😂😂
2K, you were rogered..
The difference in chris when looking over this compared to looking over the boat made me laugh out loud.
I love Robs tenacity, attitude and honesty, what a dude.
Best thing is you show when you lose and not win all the time.
Respect
I can hear Chris now… “Told you so Rob” 😅
Is it me, or does Chris seem unimpressed😁
I’m fairly certain that this video will win back your loss for you, not just in RUclips fees but as a shining example of your honesty and integrity - this video proves that your name *means* something.

looking at the state of that car the blind spot monitoring doesn't seem to be working 😂😂
🤣🤣 Robs standing there trying to sell it to you chris and your response was priceless 🤣🤣 " doesnt look like theres any money in it though "
How polite is Chris. He never exactly said twat but we all know...!
Rob. Chris knew the score from the start but decided you needed to learn for yourself and that's no bad thing . Great that you have the honesty to show the ones where you lose a small amount of money as well as those you make the money on!!
I think the screws all around would have scared off people, made it look doctored for the auction. But worth a try, was interesting to see that selling on Copart is a big gamble too.
They've actually given up driving, not a bad shout that 😂
Probably got banned
I think you sold it at the right price, but bought it at the wrong one. It should have been no more than £1,000 to the seller but you were swayed by their outstanding finance, which wasn’t your problem. Lots of lessons in there, especially the unpopularity of older diesels.

I’ve never seen Chris so unimpressed with a purchase made by you Rob,
Chris didn't look best pleased
Can't win all the time Rob, but to be honest the set up you two boys have is never gonna lose. Good honest video.
Thanks for the honesty - I am a little surprised Chris wasn’t tempted to switch the Audi for it as he seemed to fall in love with the Juke!
Rob, I want to thank both you and Chris for keeping your YT channel real.
Chris couldnt have been less interested in that Puke if he tried! 😂
Loving the total reality of your videos no profit but still smiling!😊
Rob I love that you kept everything in unedited!
Chris wasn't having it 😂 Didn't even want the keys!
Can't blame him, who would! 😆
Love the video’s lads but ive got to say i was more than surprised when you said you had paid £2k for that. I was expecting you to say you had paid a 3 figure sum.
Rob learn from Chris reaction should put change in various places to soften the blow 😂
Rob, I thought everyone knew that the Juke is one of the most hated/ugliest cars on the road!! 😂
Some you win some you loose ! Life is for Learning.
Rob lad you will never learn, all you had to do to win Chris over and put a smile on his face, was simply put a few bob in the cup holder, job done.

I have never seen Chris looking as happy about a car
Shame they didn't wash the dents out 😂
Good on you for taking a chance, no pain no gain and certainly no point crying over spilt milk. Love these quick flips, better luck next time. 🙂
I loved the look on Chris’s face when you asked him to get in it. He couldn’t wait to get out again.
Wow you dropped the ball there Rob...Chris was so annoyed, but being such a nice guy he didn't show it..
Rob, Chiris is like my wife doesn’t really say what he thinks but we all know☹️.
I don't think Chris was keen 😅
Fair play for letting it go at a loss.
First time I’ve ever seen you guys making a loss
Fair play Chris isn't just a master mechanic but his comedian skills are sharp let's see how much Rob can earn in a day polishing a turd!!!😂😂
Rob, rather than say a vehicle is a 65 reg can you please say the actual year. Subscribers here in New Zealand or any other country do not know what year vehicle a 65 reg is. Good honest video as you said you can't win them all. Take care, regards Howard

Ideal first car, drive for 12 months or more add a few dings along the way with no stress.
Fully agree, most young drivers scuff there cars up within first 12 month.
Chris isn’t impressed
Not impressed at all 😂😂😂
Yeah he not the most enthusiastic over this 1 eh 😂😂😮😮😅😅
Was just thinking.. these two are on totally different pages with this one 😂
He’s thinking about his boat.
Hi Rob it's the roll of the dice as you say.Sometimes you win and some times you loose thats the name of the game
Chris seriously not impressed....I don't want the key!!
A Nissan with heavy miles and driven by Stevie W*nder repeatably in demolition derbies.....seriously 🤣
That took the wind out of Chris's sails after the boat video 😂😅
Seen cars finish banger races lookin better! - love Chris's response, just imagine in his head hes saying "Fxcking hell mate, what ya dun now?"
'Polish a turd' Chris is legend! PMSL!!! you guys are brilliant. 😄
Reckon it’d make a good anchor for the new boat.
Don’t worry Rob your still up after buying the ship,it’s a great episode and why you’re subscribers love the content the channel puts out .
Thanks Chris and Rob. Astute as ever; and love the one liners from Chris!
Good video, you and Chris always try to show things ‘warts and all’. Another reason I watch and appreciate your channel. Cheers 👍
Chris was not at all happy. You could tell that this video was not a fake.
Well done Salvage Rebuilds for showing how it is some you win some you lose.😢
Great effort our Rob..👍

This reminds me of my wife " babe, I found a sad kitten at the side of the road ....I HAD to bring it home".
😊
Respect due for showing the duffers as well as the successes
If my son was old enough to drive I think this would be perfect as a car to learn in and use after his test. If he added another couple of dent and scrapes it doesn't matter
Would be ideal, but believe me insurance would be heck of a lot.
It so funny Chris is not interested at all 😂😂😂 rob I can see u trying to convince him. Polish a 💩 😂😂😂😂
Chris not in the least impressed!!!!
T love the honesty of this channel by farthe best salvage channel on youtube
Becoming a right detailer aint ya?! I do love a bit of mopping!
Great watch as always gents and genuine content. Nothing staged, just as it is. Cheers gents!
You could tell Chris didn’t like it when he never checked for coins lol 😂 and he also called it a turd 💩 I was pmsl 🤪
I think Chris is getting increasingly cheesed off with Robs impulse purchases.
Hi Rob and Chris, it's all part of your game, that's what makes the videos interesting. Could on the day have made a few quid, it didn't so its gone, good content, and loads more in the pipeline. Tbh, I like it when you buy different stock like this, and then we see it play out. Alex.
First time I've seen Chris slightly piffed, lol clear the backlog Rob and stop letting the £'s Burn a hole !!!
Rob spinning the sales pitch to Chris at the beginning. He wasn’t impressed 😂 but I’ve got faith, this will be a good motor for someone.
You should've offered it to your paint shop guy; it would've been a win for both of you.
oh well you did your best and not out of pockrt too much, you improved the look 300% and someones got a good bargain.👍👍👍
Chris looks fed up😮
Rob you Done a good job on the front wing. 👍👍
Nice video, if it makes you feel any better I am 90% done with my clutch and new gearbox change on my driveway. Not a nice job but I have enjoyed the experience 😅
True, you win some you lose some - but you took a bit of a spanking on that one. Mind you, someone got a decent deal for 2k.
I think Chris had used all his enthusiasm on the boat.
He wasn’t having that Nissan.
Enjoyed that . Shows that the business changes and someone somewhere needs to take a risk. But the risk , when it comes off , can be rewarding. The co-part buyer will make a bit on it quickly.

SG65, not surprised it's beaten up, it was registered in Glasgow!
Well the old fellas been busy in the Screw & Bolt pot 🫣
Hello Rob, Chris wasn't over excited lol.but with time and a car wash it has turned out alot better to sell on.the DA has made a difference to the paintwork.
I've never seen Chris so negative about something 🙊
Chris isn’t happy 🤦♂️it’s down to experience this one 😂
Great vid. " lets see how much Rob makes polishing a turd ".
😂😂😂 Great channel guys. 👍

Very true
Rob. You made me laugh. Never heard you try so hard to big up a car. I still dont think many were convinced.. Great video.
