Thank you for showing us your house, Miss Dosha! I also live in a mudbrick house, in Victoria, Australia. My house does have windows, but the mudbrick is a very good house to live in, in a hot climate. It stays cool in summer (we have very hot summers) but also warm in the winter. We have frosts sometimes where we are, but they only have snow higher up in the mountains, not where we are. I am a widow and my husband died when my two sons were babies, three months and two years old. They are grown men now and rent a house in town, where they work. They visit me sometimes and are good to me. Because of a kind and wealthy cousin, I own my own 20 acre farm. She loaned me money to buy another farm and I paid her back, sold that farm, bought a house then a few years later sold that house to buy this farm. I have chickens and a horse, and I grow vegetables and prickly pear cactus, that have delicious fruit. You can eat the pads as well. I harvest wood each day from my land for cooking and heating and have solar electricity. At the moment I am digging trenches on contour on my hillside to store rainwater runoff. It soaks into the soil and travels under the ground, downhill. It makes a spring in the valley so now I have a creek in my valley! This makes me very happy! Also, I made a dam on the valley, so now I have a large, deep pool of water there, even though we have had very bad rains this Winter. If things ever get really bad, I told my sons they can come here but they will have to work hard. I work hard as well, so it is only fair. We all have to work hard for our food. God Bless, I look forward to seeing more videos from you!

If you are a student and you stil haven't made any career option, go for IFS, Indian Foreign Service. That gives wings to your curiosity
Women's rights has nothing to do with his comment....if we hide injustice thinking it will affect our state's or country's image....then that injustice will continue...women face inequality more or less in all countries...we should not hide it. When a video in youtube pointed out that songs of a certain state are sexist(songs from all states can be sexist and the video did not say anything about culture..just the modern songs)...some girls claiming to be from that state took offence and said their culture treats daughters well and so on...nowadays almost everyday there is a news report of a woman being raped and killed in that state...ofcourse it is happening in other states as well...culture is one thing but inequality,crime...these things are important to be discussed...we should not have such a mindset as to think that certain problems should not get attention.
This is the similar mindset as keeping quiet after getting beaten up by husband so that family's image is not hurt...ultimately men get away with crimes because of this attitude...men benefit from such thinking...real patriotism lies in discussing the problems so that they can be solved and the country does not have those problems...patriotism is not hiding or lessening certain problems and hence continuing with those problems. All countries have certain problems...racist people might mock other countries but educated and intelligent people don't hide the problems of their country in fear of them.

Hello Miss Dosha. Thank you for showing us your house. It looks cozy and comfortable. I live in America in Tennessee, it is a place that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. My husband and I live in a house made of wood, it has windows for ventilation in the summer, but they close tight to keep the heat inside during the winter. We have toilets with pipes that go underground to carry the waste away, the problem with that kind of toilet is they use a lot of water. Our water comes into the house in pipes, but we have to pay every month for the water we use. Different cultures are all different with different ways that still work. I grow vegetables outside in the garden and if it doesn't rain I have to spray water on it. I look forward to watching your other videos.

Where I live in Seattle, it is overcast quite often, but it's the best time of the year here right now! Early fall is sunny and 70 degrees. Just starting to get a little chilly at night. We are known for getting a lot of rain and for our evergreen trees -- lots of evergreens everywhere. The average temp is 50-60 degrees -- it's in that range most of the time. Thanks again for sharing your home!!!

It sounds like it is warm enough there to go outside any time of the year you want. Then you don’t need windows as long as you have good ventilation like yours. Thank you for the lovely tour!

Thank you MissDosha for letting us in to your home, you such a hard working women you do not have much but you thank God for what you have blessings on your FAMILY.
In this house you have connection with mother earth. With your feet. It is special. I live on first flor. I have windows and two balconies. The apartment is very sunny. But during the winter days it can be dark. In the Mediterranean , we use blinds a lot to protect ourselves from the sun and storms during the winter. I really like simplicity of your house. I like that you don't have to vacuum. Considering that Africa is a very hot continent, it is not bad that the houses are dark inside. Although ours will also be dark because of the blinds. I would like to visit some day Africa. Thank you for your kindness and selflessly showing us your home. Wish you all the best. Greetings from Montenegro-a country in southeastern Europe that lies on the coast of the Adriatic Sea.

It all make so much sense when you speak and explain. I wish you & your family all the very best continued blessings!
Greeting! I always enjoy watching videos about different cultures. In America that would be considered to primitive and the city or county would remove the house. As a travel nurse I have have lived the primitive lifestyle and truely enjoyed it. How do you keep unwanded guests from coming in to your home? I would probably keep a few chickens inside to eat them. lol ! Thanks for sharing how you live. I really enjoy seeing real videos and not ones that are staged. 😁
Why do people always feel the need to put down America when dealing with other countries do you live in America if you do then you're a part of it the very thing that you act like you hate so much. If you love The Village life so much you should go and live there.
Thank you for this very informative video….my first time watching, won’t be the last. You are smart, beautiful, contented and real…..a rarity these days…..Bless you!! I migrated to North America…studied, got married (48 years) and raised my family here, but I was born in the Islands, married to an African…..so I feel very connected. I just love the real, uncomplicated way of living. The way you explained everything, you showed a lifestyle that’s peaceful, un encumbered and happy……Way to go….Love it!! Blessings
Don't be deceived, living like this with basic amenities is hard, not good for your health and especially women have a hard time of it as they spend most of their time doing basic tasks like food preparation, washing clothes etc It's a horrible life
Thank you for sharing your home. I really like the mud/roof, all natural. I find it fascinating to learn about other lifestyles, foods, cultures, and countries. I'm from WV, USA. It is small mountains, green everywhere, full of trees and the weather is in the 70s Fahrenheit.
We have such type of houses in villages in india and surrounding mostly. Such type of Houses or huts are very very nature friendly in all seasons mainly summer and winters.
It’s so astonishing to see and learn about your culture. I also LOVE your cooking videos! I’m all about some food and the food you make is so different from the food we make here in America. Your food just looks so yummy! 😋 definitely subscribed!
That's how we talk most of the time Especially when we're speaking In a foreign language like English It may sound very weird to Western But in our own language it does make a perfect sense Basically, what it means As you would say in English ( So yeah, that's how it is ) I'm from Sudan, and she's from Kenya In african culture, we do have very crazy Expressions and mouth sounds which Makes no sense at all to other cultures

Your video reminded me of my childhood days in my village. Oh! So that's why you don't have windows! Makes sense. Not that I totally agree cause people can throw a 'bad eye' at you whether yr in or out of the house 🤣 In Trinidad most of us have high boundary walls, tinted window glass panes and thick curtains/drapes to gain privacy
Hello Miss Dosha, thank you for allowing a tour of your home. Very interesting to learn about our "sisters and brothers" all over our shared planet. I wish you all success and happiness in life. GOD bless you and your family.
I have many questions. How do you cope with insects in the home? Do you need refrigeration and if so what do you use for refrigeration? Is everything cooked for the specific meal and eaten up? Do you eat the ducks, chickens, goats or cows? That may take refrigeration?? Where is the restroom used and what do women use for certain times of the month? Sorry to ask. What do you do if you get sick and need medical attention? What do you use for the common cold or aches? What is your catastrophes there? Flash flood, tornadoes, etc? Any predators or insects that are deadly that come in the home? Please forgive me for asking if this is to personal.
It is VERY cold in my area compared to yours. During the time between October 15, to about April 1, we have snow, ice, rain and ice combined, cold rainey weather. Mainly snow between Nov. 1 to Fed 28. But, like your area and yourself, most of us like it. Your home is beautiful and I for one agree with the reason for no windows!

We are known for getting a lot of rain and for our evergreen trees -- lots of evergreens everywhere. The average temp is 50-60 degrees -- it's in that range most of the time. Thanks again for sharing your home!!!
That’s it. I’m moving to Seattle!!!!
Sounds heavenly.
@@tonisumblin2719 we’d be delighted to have you! ❤️ As an aside, I love these videos! I’m so curious about what life is like in other places. I know I’m not alone. 😉 It’s wonderful that this content creator shared!!! I’m envious of how relaxed her village is. Need a house? Make one. Need a tool? Make one. The ingenuity really appeals to me.
70 degrees Celsius is very very hot.
@@antoniescargo4158 my goodness! Now I’m interested. What is the temperature at your home? Do you live in a snowy place? I love the snow! Sadly, we don’t get much snow in Seattle.
She’s referring to F temperature
Sitting here in the north woods of Maine USA, 2 ft of snow on the ground -20 f outside. The simplicity and beauty of you home is wonderful to see, love your video, love your home,, love the music! Thank you💖💖💖
FYI: I always click the [Like ] BEFORE watching all of your videos! Love touring your house and kitchen, it’s so neat. I’ve said this time and time again, but you’re a wonderful educator. I’ve learned so much about your culture in Africa since I’ve been a subscriber. I pray that you get millions of subscribers! ❤️
Thank you 💘
Mona that is such a sweet comment. Just by complementing her home and her neatness you touched my heart. Thank goodness for people like you.
You and I girl! You and I 👍🥂

She should tell us how one can support her channel $
These types of houses are very nice and comfortable..they give real village life feeling the way uh are explaining every small things is too good and ur house also 🏡 god bless uh.... love from India 🇮🇳❤️
Thank you 💘
Comfortable ?.. isn't that flattery ? Dosha is such a good soul..who's
Thankful for the little things she owns..and that's her beauty
That doesn't mean that her life is comfortable...
I live where it gets very cold in the winter. I love your house. It looks very comfortable! In the winters here we have to stay inside most of the time, so we do enjoy our windows to see out. It sounds like it is warm enough there to go outside any time of the year you want. Then you don’t need windows as long as you have good ventilation like yours. Thank you for the lovely tour!
Thank you so much for showing us your house! I wish I were there with you right now. It's 19degrees and I'm freezing 🥶. I love your little animal friends, and I love your videos!! Keep up the good work. 🤗
Ma’sha’allah such a simple living and still very happy and we in Uk live in big posh mansions and still stressed out all of the time, god bless you miss Dossa and your family, I’ve got many African friends in Uk and they are all very funny and friendly people ❤️❤️
U must be extremely rich to live in mansion in uk. Most people live in 2,3 bed house or flat .But still quiet a good living than them. But it's about the quality than quantity. We'll dosha n them praise to God have a quality life style. Just happy n content..
@@madgebennett9941 yes I did get it. What I was saying is not everyone in uk lives in mansions. Unless they are extremely rich
Super stressed with depression from having too much
Everyone no matter where they're from gets stressed out.
These type of houses are very nice and comfortable and the life style of the dwellers is remarkable. Theirs lives are enjoyable and free from worries. Live long the concerned. May God bless you with all you need. Thanks
I love your simple and relaxing way of living and you have a beautiful home. I enjoy watching your videos and you inspire me to cook more wholesome foods. Thanks for sharing.
Hi I'm from Jamaica and I see how you live and your home and I say to myself its good to just embrace your culture and the culture of others. I really appreciate your video
Lovely video of your lovely home, thank you for sharing it with us Miss Dosha. It's very interesting for us in the West to see how you live in Africa, I admire how you embrace and have pride in the simplicity of your life, there is much that we could all learn from you and as a new subscriber I very much look forward to watching all your videos, thank you. Sending love and greetings from England.
Hi Miss Dosha, loved your home tour and your sweet, simple and humble lifestyle 👏. Most importantly that typical African wonderful background music elevated your video to another level altogether 👍
I love the music
Hello Dosha! I found your channel when I was looking up African recipes for my daughter and I to make. She loves to cook. Thank you for sharing your wonderful village with us all. May God bless you in all your endeavors 💜🙏
@romansilentempire8309 Yes I will one day. God's help. I adore Africa.
I love that the outdoor shower is made from palm tree leaves. And thank you for showing that it doesn’t take much to have a simple, content life👍.
I so much love your humility, so proud of you my sister. Sending greetings and best wishes to you from biafran land.
Hello Dasha, your videos make me feel so peaceful, i love your lifestyle simple no faking but you can feel the love and that you enjoy life, thank you for sharing your life with us love this
Thank you for sharing your home tour with us. I love how you share so openly and explain things to us the viewers. Like I never seen inside a village home and I never knew why there are no windows. It all make so much sense when you speak and explain. I wish you & your family all the very best continued blessings!
Your house is so beautiful, you are helping us to gain knowledge about your world whicj is very similar to our India. ❤ from India sister .
Tan linda Ella con que humildad y agradecimiento nos enseña su casita Dios la bendiga.
Thank you for this tour. Village life is often more peaceful than a busy metropolitan area. When human life is close to nature harmony comes naturally.
Blessings
Thank you love
👍
Love The Village Simplicity of a Sweet Life....in Africa!!!!🥰🙌🇯🇲🇯🇲
Don't be deceived, living like this with basic amenities is hard, not good for your health and especially women have a hard time of it as they spend most of their time doing basic tasks like food preparation, washing clothes etc It's a horrible life
@@ifeifesi Greetings. I know that it's hard....Not trying to say anything against that known fact...Blessings❤💯
This was so neat to see how other people live in other parts of our world. Love your channel. You’ve got another new subscriber!!!
Thank you for sharing your home. I really like the mud/roof, all natural. I find it fascinating to learn about other lifestyles, foods, cultures, and countries. I'm from WV, USA. It is small mountains, green everywhere, full of trees and the weather is in the 70s Fahrenheit.
Her videos are real, honest...no filter
Lots of love and respect from India, Kerala 🥰

We have such type of houses in villages in india and surrounding mostly. Such type of Houses or huts are very very nature friendly in all seasons mainly summer and winters.
Miss Dosha Ur village is neat & clean. There is a lot of oxygen too.
Woooow!thank you 💓
In my village it’s warm when I go home ❤I love my hut and I can see the pride in yours
It’s so astonishing to see and learn about your culture. I also LOVE your cooking videos! I’m all about some food and the food you make is so different from the food we make here in America. Your food just looks so yummy! 😋 definitely subscribed!
So cute how she says yeah, after each sentence. ❤️❤️
That's how we talk most of the time
Especially when we're speaking
In a foreign language like English
It may sound very weird to Western
But in our own language
it does make a perfect sense
Basically, what it means
As you would say in English
( So yeah, that's how it is )
I'm from Sudan, and she's from Kenya
In african culture, we do have very crazy
Expressions and mouth sounds which
Makes no sense at all to other cultures
I’m so glad to see that you are over 30ksubsribers‼️ let’s go for 10,000.0000.0000 ‼️❤️
Wooow!thank you 💘
Thank you for showing us your home. It is important to know how others live and are blessed.
Wow, such a beautiful and peaceful setting, I can almost feel the radiant heat of the sun, the light breeze and the sweet aroma of Miss Dosha' cooking.
Seriously, does this not count as a UNESCO World Heritage Treasured site, perfect; i for one think so.
This is got be one of the best home showings I seen yet. Thank you for sharing from New York, USA.
It makes my memories walk 30 years back to my village here in Kerala, India.

Your home is simple, natural and beautiful. Thank you .
Your house is so simple , and meaningful with only the essentials needed for a daily life . So your mind and body will be devoid of complexity and burdens so that you can concentrate and enjoy your daily activities .! Well done! 🌷🌷🌷👌👌👌
Beautiful! Practical needs for life. I live in Oklahoma, USA. When Jesus Christ changed my heart I realized I lived lavishly thinking I needed so much to show people I was successful. I now live in a camper with very little and have all I need. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, your personal space and sanctuary. What a precious kind spirit you have. May the Lord be ever present in your life filling your heart with His bountiful grace my Sister. ✝️🤍💜🤗
YOU ARE A WONDERFUL LADY WHO IS SEVING THE HUMANITY WITH HUMILITY

Thanks for sharing 👍. Most people don't appreciate what they have. Bless up yourself. Love your show ❤💕
You are rich in everything’s health, happiness, nature and much more god bless you❤️
Miss Dosha thank you for inviting us into your home. It is a good strong home and very tidy. The thick walls must help to keep the heat down. I appreciate the information you shared! I live in Alaska and today it is 30’ F. We think this is warm. We are all airing out our homes, cleaning, and washing while the weather is good and we have sunshine. We only have 8 hours of daytime right now. Thank you for doing the video.
Love from India. I wish to have good health to travel the world and record it in social media
Your videos are so amazing. Watching your house tour made me go back to when I was a kid on my school holidays to my aunt. It was such a special time in my life.. 🥰
Your video reminded me of my childhood days in my village. In those days we used to have such mud houses with palm leaf roofing ( but now transformed to brick houses with terrace) very cool will be inside.
It is really strange to know that ladies serving alcohol at home. For many of us drinking alcohol is a taboo, but now a days even here youngsters are getting spoilt by drinking addiction. Thank you for providing your village lifestyle.

Thank you for taking time and showing your home . I see how proud you are.
I love how y’all live a simple life with only necessities….. our lives are so complicated here in the USA … we have way to much unnecessary stuff….would love to experience your way of life…
I love all the colors you use! And your small shop area is very inviting. Thank you for the tour.
Greetings from the UK, homes are very different in the western world, we have taps for water flushing toilets and electricity and electrical appliances for such things as video games and PCs for Internet access or very materialistic here in the western world. However what I love about what you have shown us is how you make the most of what you have and how humble hard-working you are. You have a beautiful home and I appreciate very much you are allowing us in to see how you live in your part of the world with blessings and gratitude from the UK xxxx
Thank you for showing us your house. I really enjoy your tour. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It is desert hear and very hot in the summer and cold in winter. It doesn’t rain very often, so the ground is dry, but when it does rain it floods a lot. 😀❤️
This is truly beautiful 😍 ❤. You're environment looks so peaceful ✨ 💕.
Peaceful surrounding... I'll take my folding chair outside under the tree & sleeping.. hahaha..cool..👍❤️
Lovely
Thanks for taking around your house, it gives an idea how village people live.
ООО!!! Да!!! 🤗🤗🤗.

Oh! So that's why you don't have windows! Makes sense. Not that I totally agree cause people can throw a 'bad eye' at you whether yr in or out of the house 🤣 In Trinidad most of us have high boundary walls, tinted window glass panes and thick curtains/drapes to gain privacy
miss dosha your cottage is very simple and beautyfull i like this god bless you,,,,,khalid noor from [hyd] pakistan

Hello Miss Dosha, thank you for allowing a tour of your home. Very interesting to learn about our "sisters and brothers" all over our shared planet. I wish you all success and happiness in life. GOD bless you and your family.
Beautiful ❤️ you are so sweet and very humble ❤️ sending lots of love, peace, and joy. From America I love your videos sister.

Respected ma'am. Really appreciate your efforts to demonstrate every detail of the house. Your English is impressive. What's your education? God bless your family. Lots of love from Mumbai India
Thank you for the tour of your tidy and well thought out home and village. Very good, attractive, practical and clean
