R1 is awesome bike but Yamaha service network in India is only limited to bikes like R15 and other scooters. They dont care about selling super sportbikes in India. SO its better to go with Kawasaki in this regard if you want a 1L class bike.

Passionate owner and good detailing of the bike. Well interviewed. Hope all our people become aware of good bikes and start buying big capacity bkes both street and sport bikes. Our government should also reduce taxes by a huge margin of imported bikes in order to be affordable. The main issue is the majority of Indian public is not mature enough to handle and maintain premium bikes and without much technical knowhow. They are only thinking about a particular kind of sound and modifications. We should urge all Japanese to setup their factories in India for higher capacity performance orientated motorcycles so that we will be able to afford them. Lets hope change will happen. Our country has to go a long way in terms of taking motorcycling as pleasure instead of utility alone.
It's a shame that such a legendary bike that won WSBK championship in 2021 doesnt get enough love from the dealership itself. People who were fan of Rossi can relate to having this bike as their own dream bike. And I think for me the main thing i love about this bike is its exhaust note, theres nothing like it in rhe market. Wish Yamaha could do a better job with selling this bike with better experience to the customer.
In pakistan everyone does their own service and imports their own parts from japan/us. Yaha only benelli ka dealership hai wo bhi 0 aftersales service k sath

Mostly notebook pe agr kisi bike ki pic hoti thi to vo isi R1 ki...Uss waqt dekh k ye mann hota tha ki ek bar to is bike ko own krni hai... Filhal to Iske bache R15 ko own kra hai recently...lekin discontinue hai ya jo bhi ...har haal me Ek din ise apna banaunga....
I am using Yamaha bike and big fan of Yamaha bikes but I would say that yamaha customer support and service centre support is worst. The engineers in e workshop is less knowledgeable and roadside mechanics doesn't know much about ita machineries. It is sad part but it is fact. Doesn't matter if someone's believes me or not.
Cross pane means it's a type of crank shaft means engine firing ration means 1-2-3-4 and other bike like zx10r and oher have regular crank shaft meand engine firing ration 1-3 & 2-4

In Thailand, R1M is a very famous bike. In bangkok there r atleast 12 R1M.. I dont know why in India, Yamaha is so careless towards R1 lovers.
R1 is awesome bike but Yamaha service network in India is only limited to bikes like R15 and other scooters. They dont care about selling super sportbikes in India. SO its better to go with Kawasaki in this regard if you want a 1L class bike.
