Came back bc a group sang this song and decided to visit...How I miss you guys so much as a group😭 I'm still following your solo activities but how I wish they would come together as a band bc your songs were so good. It seems like Hoppipolla is reflecting the boy’s emotions and singing in his point of view. A boy who was not good at expressing his mind while he was with loved girl is in sorrow recalling his memory. It is really painful that he couldnt do anything when she really needed him. Not sure what the girl’s last message, but i guess it is a word that she loves him trying not to make him too be sad.. So please dont say you love me. Please dont lie to assure me. Just saying that you needed me now, thats all i need.. The more you listen, the more you feel this song. 💕

When someone from the family has really big debts, and they can't pay it off, they decide to doing suicide. This story ilustrate they get into the car with the whole family, including children, and drive out into the lake or off a cliff. For them, this is something like a sign of love. so as not to leave their debts on the children and not spoil their lives, because then they will have to pay them instead of the deceased parents. And when in the car, the girl calling the guy bcs she need a help. But, the guy was late can’t help the girl. The boys can’t save her life but also the girl don’t know that her parents decision maybe is the best way and it’s a sign of love to her.

I found Hoppipolla through a comment in Lucy's MV "Flowering". I never knew there were many varieties in bands...they play violin, cello, etc. This is the kind of music I was looking for. I love it!
맨날 노래만 들어서 마냥 노래가 좋다...라고만 생각했는데 뮤비를 보니까 또 다르네 그냥 사랑 노래라고 생각했던걸 그 '그냥 사랑'은 뭘까, 또 어떻게 표현하는걸까라는 생각으로 바뀌고 단편적인 것만 보는 것이 아니라 더 깊게 생각해보게됨.. 이게 바로 선한 영향력이 아닐까 우리가 잊고있던 또는 무감각해졌던 무언가에 대해 다시 생각해보고 느끼게 해준다는 것. 사실 내가 이해한 게 호피폴라가 말하고자한 의미가 아닐지도 모르겠지만 전 가수에게 노래로 받을 수 있는 가장 좋은 걸 받은 것 같아요. 고마워요
너무 많이 울까봐 대충 뮤비 내용을 알아서 풀뮤비를 보는 걸 계속 미뤘는데.. 오늘은 왠지 보고싶은 마음에 봤더니 역시 예상대로.. 호피폴라의 음악은 너무 특별한거 같아요. 사실 음악만 들어도 왠지 눈물이 차오르는데, 이렇게 사람들의 감정을 만질 수 있는 음악을 한다는 게 그냥 듣는 사람 입장에서는 신기하기도 하고 대단하기도 하고. 도대체 아일이라는 아티스트는 어떤 사람일까.. 아일이 만든 노래들은 전부 작품같아요.. 팬이라서 그렇게 들리는 것만은 아닌거같고, 진짜 좋은 음악하고 계신거같아요. 호피폴라가 노래하고 연주해서 더 좋고. 이런저런 생각이 너무 많이 드는데 잠깐 이 감정에 멈춰있어야겠다ㅠㅠ

The idea of barely miss the chance that you could never have again was pretty upsetting for me. the grief and guilt he felt must be haunting him

I was kinda confused at first why they were in an old building. That's why i have a THEORY guys. What if the two students in that old school is their roaming spirits? Bc when the guy knew what happened to the girl's family he can't take it and decided to follow her. That's why they are in their old school bc their spirit stayed there together. It’s great think, but i have different view of this story. Regarding to I’LL (Vocal member) caption post in instagram he wrote this : “i think there's something more precious than words that love in all kinds of love in this world. this song is my answer. what is your love complete?” And beside this caption have a meaning that love can’t describe by word. i think this makes sense and related with this MV Story. 슬픈건 그냥 슬픈거다.

다소 무거운 주제를 가지고 뮤비 찍는 거 진짜 용감한 거 같아요~~ 신인밴드인데 진짜ㅜㅜㅜㅜ 사회 문제를 다루고 다양한 입장에서의 마음을 공감하고 위로해주는 거 같아요..진짜 명품밴드의 띵곡과 의미 깊은 뮤비..대단합니다. 수록곡까지 모두 너무 좋은 앨범인 거 같아요

it was just like a regular day for the girl and boy, going to school(secret meeting place maybe?) , she got a text from her parents and they picked her up, not knowing of the next thing that will happen. the mom and dad looks so distressed, it's like they were fighting about something, and when the girl noticed something was off, she asked explanation from her parents but they arent giving her answers. tried to call the boy to seek help. but it was too late. the car drove off the lake..

너무 많이 울까봐 대충 뮤비 내용을 알아서 풀뮤비를 보는 걸 계속 미뤘는데.. 오늘은 왠지 보고싶은 마음에 봤더니 역시 예상대로.. 호피폴라의 음악은 너무 특별한거 같아요. 사실 음악만 들어도 왠지 눈물이 차오르는데, 이렇게 사람들의 감정을 만질 수 있는 음악을 한다는 게 그냥 듣는 사람 입장에서는 신기하기도 하고 대단하기도 하고. 도대체 아일이라는 아티스트는 어떤 사람일까.. 아일이 만든 노래들은 전부 작품같아요.. 팬이라서 그렇게 들리는 것만은 아닌거같고, 진짜 좋은 음악하고 계신거같아요. 호피폴라가 노래하고 연주해서 더 좋고. 이런저런 생각이 너무 많이 드는데 잠깐 이 감정에 멈춰있어야겠다ㅠㅠ

goosebumps over this masterpiece . that part when they sang "just saying that you needed me now, that's all i need" and then the girl called for him cause she needs him to be there. but ended up with him no being able to be there next to her on time legit broke me down. The idea of barely miss the chance that you could never have again was pretty upsetting for me. the grief and guilt he felt must be haunting him

I was kinda confused at first why they were in an old building. That's why i have a THEORY guys. What if the two students in that old school is their roaming spirits? Bc when the guy knew what happened to the girl's family he can't take it and decided to follow her. That's why they are in their old school bc their spirit stayed there together. What if they were no longer alive from the first place? 🤔

It’s great think, but i have different view of this story. Regarding to I’LL (Vocal member) caption post in instagram he wrote this :
“i think there's something more precious than words that love in all kinds of love in this world. this song is my answer. what is your love complete?”
And beside this caption have a meaning that love can’t describe by word. i think this makes sense and related with this MV Story.
This happen in South Korean. When someone from the family has really big debts, and they can't pay it off, they decide to doing suicide. This story ilustrate they get into the car with the whole family, including children, and drive out into the lake or off a cliff. For them, this is something like a sign of love. so as not to leave their debts on the children and not spoil their lives, because then they will have to pay them instead of the deceased parents.
And when in the car, the girl calling the guy bcs she need a help. But, the guy was late can’t help the girl.
And my conclusion is the song have two meaning, first is the guy who regret bcs they can save the girl life and second is “ilustrate the girls question why her parents doing that? But behind that, that’s a sign of love from parents to her” 😭
