well in the FFA that had snake, abbot, sultan and philip, he also got burned to hell by snake. he just has a really burnable castle since he doesnt have it fully encased for one thing, and just not enough wells for how tight the buildings are.
if King Phillip is French why doesn't he have Crossbowmen now that I think about it? historically speaking the British had longbows and the French wielded the crossbows.
because most people have no idea about history and think france is weak because they lost world war 2, but actually they are one of the strongest nations to ever exist.Because of this i think the programmer who made Philipp made him super weak because he doesnt know history of france

Nach spätestens 2min steht fest: "Es ist aus für euch, seht es endlich ein!" (auch wenn die Schlange weit unter ihren Möglichkeiten geblieben ist, was das Abfackeln von Kathedralen etc angeht) Phillip konnte dem Truppen-Spam der Schlange einfach nichts entgegensetzen und hat einfach nur sein ganzes Geld, seine Truppen und zum Schluss sich selbst verbrannt... Selbstmord aus Frustration? :'D Aber man sieht hier sehr schön, dass die Schlange mit konstantem Nerven und Angreifen nicht zu unterschätzen ist, wenn sie Gold hat.
Ich würde soweit gehen zu sagen das die schlange alle kis die langsamer sind als sie fast besiegt in solchen matchups da sie die starken lategamer einfach wirtschaftlich zerstört

They should have made him about the strength of Richard.
I always thought they should have made him stronger. Atleast give him pikes and a few crossbows, not too many crossbows but definitely get rid of the spearman. He'd do fine. When hes my ally I put a couple of crossbows on his towers and he survives fine.
Funnily enough, Phillip could have probably won if he mass-trained swordsmen instead of knights. The Snake has no way to effectively counter heavy armor.
I always thought Snake was freaking awesome, also in the original Stronghold. In Crusader he is ALWAYS my ally xD Actually all the originals always are. He is the master of having lots of Archers xD And this was such an easy victory for him

ganz einfach: die schlange stellt leitern auf um in die burg zu kommen. da phillip aber keine treppen baut, sondern nur das torhaus das beim angriff verschlossen wird, sieht die schlange keinen sinn darin ihre truppen auf die wälle zu bringen. sie will halt auf teufel komm raus in den burghof um dort party zu machen.

jap nur theoretisch. die ki denkt das nur meuchelmörder dazu fähig sind torhäuser zu erobern. und selbst das mit dem torhaus würde nur bedingt was bringen weil phillips truppen so nahe wären das das torhaus zu bleiben würde. und die ki öffnet ein torhaus nicht selbsttätig. klar die mauern das torhaus und die türme wären n super safe-spot für die truppen der schlange aber wie gesagt das ist in der ki nicht eingeplant die wälle zu erobern um eigene truppen zu stationieren.
Dass die Schlange ihre Leitern nicht benutzt liegt glaube ich daran, dass sie ihre Einheiten alle gleichzeitig in den Angriff schickt. Da zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine Leitern stehen attackieren die Lanzenträger eben die Wälle. Wenn man die Schlange aber z.B. mit dem Schwein oder dem Sherriff verbündet habe ich es schon erlebt, dass diese die Leitern der Schlange benutzen, wenn sie mit dieser angreifen!

Vipsanius Agrippa glaub ich weniger. die bogenschützen der schlange bewegen sich ja immer stückweise nach vorn und teilweise hat die ki die bogenschützen in den nahkampf an die mauern geschickt als die leitern schon standen. das schwein oder sherrif die truppen über leitern hochschicken liegt wohl darin das die ki den befehl hat aufgrund mangelnder fernkampfschwäche die wälle mit nahkämpfern zu säubern. die schlange hat das ja nicht nötig weil sie jede menge fernkampfpower hat. darum hat sie wohl keinen befehl im code der ihr sagt wälle mit nahkämpfern besteigen um gegnerische fernkämpfer und belagerungsgerät zu beseitigen. klar ich hab keine ahnung wie der quellcode der ki aussieht also zum teil könntest du auch recht haben aber wie gesagt: meine vermutung ist das die schlange in den burghof will, phillip aber keine treppen baut. das die schlange trotzdem leiterträger schickt ist einfach so in der angriffsroutine der schlange verankert. wenn wir mal ganz ehrlich sind: die ki ist weder im original, noch in crusader die hellste. ich sag nur katapultbeschuss der die eigenen angriffstruppen zermalmt. oder katapultbeschuss auf wirtschaftsgebäude statt auf verteidigungsanlagen. kann auch einfach sein das die ki mal wieder nen aussetzer hatte und wie du vermutet hast nicht gerafft hat das da leitern stehen.
