Looks like a nice kit to have.. good you can reuse the liquid if needed. My '88 Regal had a nasty head gasket leak to the outside; not into the cylinder. I bought some sealer for $50. or so since it would be a horrible gasket job at a bad time.. That was 5+ years ago and no more leaks.. I saved the bottle since I didn't think it would work on such a bad leak. I'll get the name and post it when I go in the basement in a bit.. Don't tear it apart yet!
What in the world, YT is working against me, I posted the info about an hour after my first comment. I'll leave out the links in case it put an overseer in a tizzy.. Just search for Bar's Leak HG-1.. It's less than $40. now on Ameezon, but it may be at Autozone too.
opening that doesn’t make sense because the gas might go that way instead of going through the test fluid, I don’t know why they say that in the instructions 🤔

Also, I bought a similar kit, they ask for the valve on the T brass to be open. Quite lost about different instructions.
