Truck Tug Event @ Mercer County Fair 7/26/24

This is the 7000 pound truck tug class at the Mercer County Fair this year. It was a good time and I ended up in 2nd place. I’ve done a lot of different things with this truck but this is the first time I ever tried a truck tug even with it.

Whats your setup?

0 plate, 191 delivery valves, 4k springs, 5x.012 injectors, 20* timing and a 47rh with Goerend triple disc, valve body, and billet input shaft.

@@dieselfueled_ it’s an 800/300 stall. I’ve had the converter roughly 16 years and I don’t think they even offer that exact converter anymore. It’s a very tight converter. A little slow spooling but it pulls really hard

@@dieselfueled_ It does good, very manageable as long as you drive sensible. The turbo is quick spooling so that helps keep the EGT's in check. It has enough fuel to get hot if you push it, but it has plenty of power without running into heat issues.
