I really miss the Open University shows on the TV talking about subjects which i had no clue about, All those big kipper ties and and 70s afro hippies had a charm to them. Much better than most of the late night stuff that gets pumped out
The lenghty black screen at the start must have been the cue for BBC Scotland to opt out for their party conference programme that afternoon.
Indeed Zenon. and in London control a person shouted to the regions Opt out Opt out Opt out - or something similar !!
I remember OU progs on Radio 3 VHF after closedown during the week - didn't know they ran on Saturday night too.
