Thank you for the relatable tales. It’s all sunshine’s and daisies when you dream. But reality is the bitter truth. It took me a long time to realize this
Totally relatable. Recently I faced rejections in almost 5 companies when I was looking for a switch. Then on closer inspectionI the reason I found was that I was good in logic building and algorithm and writing pseudo programs but however I found that I tend to forget silly syntax and this is common as I frequently switch between front, backend and also between different languages such as java and nodejs. Practising the leetcode problems since the last 1 months solely in java to improve my hands on java langauage. My goal is to crack top product product based job in the next 3-6 months and focus solely on backend rather than on front end too. Thanks for the amazing video.
generally I love your videos, but this video is amazing. thank you a lot. I think videos like this or videos that you share your experiences in programming (I mean coding, refactoring, or even talking about libraries, ...) can be great. about rejections I completely understand because in my country it is very hard to get a job in a good company. for someones like me that we can not migrate to big cities the only possible way to working in companies is remote working ,actually this is impossible :) but in my opinion programming is the most wonderful job, because it is not boring, there is no routine, every day you must learn and fight with new challenges, it teaches you another way of thinking about your problems, I love it
I love seeing people just do what they love or enjoy❤ and i also just loved coding and imagined my self as a successful programmer but when i failed a c++ competition i felt like i lost all the passion for coding especially after seeing that my Friends were actually better than me😔. Now every time i hear programing i just wanna smash my head through a wall😅
honestly I suck so bad. Like I worked so well with c, then c++ came in university and now that I have mastered classes in c++ I have to do fucking java and java and I do not work well togehter at all. While at the same time I love statistics course even tho it's the one of the hardest courses (apperantly cause everyone else plans to do it later), but it's just so much easier using R than java. Same with sql, it's like I'm not made for coding perse but match so well with databases and statistics.

You could try looking into data science! I don't know much about it but think they deal with data and stats and numbers if i am not wrong
Hey! Really like your talk. Btw how do you get better at doing advance stuff in software?
Thankyou 🤗
Note to myself: Speak up and ask more questions :)
MIT people call it engineering because spelling engineering is hard.
Actually, everyone will come across it if they put their time into it.
true!!
Hlo madam ❤
