I think the problem with Prince William is that he never takes actions towards any of the initiatives that he says he just talks about it and that’s it. For instance, he talked about ending homelessness in the UK but then he never fund raised put up committees. He didn’t do anything except the next year he talked about it again.

Nothing so far has worked for William bc he was spoiled rotten by the Queen Mother who at the same time snubbed Harry. Diana spoke about this heartbreaking situation and how she tried to make it up to Harry. William is concerned only with himself and has been that way his entire life. His and her Prince and Princess Do Little titles were so labeled because they have always been "work shy" to be polite.
Harry had to fight up hill against his role of royal scapegoat to make William look better. And BTW Harry told the world, to his detriment, in his Oprah interview that William felt trapped.
But I don't feel at all sorry for William because he was given and has the best of everything. Either he has to take the good with the bad or step aside for someone else to take his place.
The "fab four" would never have worked because Harry and Meghan, like Diana was, are go getters. They roll up their sleeves and mingle with the people they want to lend assistance to seeing them as equals. William and Kate see themselves as the ruling class above the people. As Will responded to a man in need recently, who said that smiles were not enough, that "smiles here and there were also good" then awkwardly moved on. Or his cooking stunt clutching what was supposed to be a hot pot on a cold stove no flame in sight. Or as BAFTAS patron hadn't bothered to even read a synopsis of the movies up for awards. And this list goes on.
I'm thrilled to see Meghan surviving all the hate and obstacles thrown at her having used them as stepping stones to success.
Meanwhile Kate and Will, the very week of their anniversary, are being raked over the coals from the media digging up dirt from old articles. One is never on top for long in that family. The media turns on them in an instant.

Northwestern University is ranked 9th out of 439 nationally ranked universities and only 7 out of 100 applicants are admitted. Certainly, the volunteering in soup kitchens Meghan has done since she was in middle school was seen as an admirable trait. Wonderful that she graduated and earned a good living and still found time to volunteer in the kitchen of St. Felix Centre whilst in Toronto. Amazing that she traveled to Africa and India on behalf of World Vision and then wrote an article about those experiences which was published in Time Magazine. Her 2012 Public Service Announcement regarding race and stating she was biracial was meaningful and well done.

Don't forget way before Harry met his wife, he had always had a lot more freedom especially when he was dating Chelsea. He had always been known to be the party boy. So it wouldn't surprise me if William was jealous, having a lot of pressure growing up cause you are one day going to be king. I don't really like the Royals but William has done quite a bit himself. Its only last few years we don't see much coverage anymore on british news which I'm assuming is because of Andrew.
