Do Caustic and Lifeline buffs still get revealed? I heard that Caustic and Wraith should be "Meta" this season but nothing has been said to caustic yet. And lifeline was gonna get a nice passive which also hasn't been revealed yet
I think all caustic really needs is for his passive to work more reliably. He's pretty decent as is and is one of the stronger control legends there is currently.
that would literally be the recon passive, I think they intentionally made skirmisher legends have a weaker passive as most of them are already pretty powerful legends.
Pretty much a nerf to His passive💀 I means before He reduce cooldown and scan rings, now only reduce cooldown and that CP even though It might not even that good🗿
Fuck this game man. Been maining pathfinder my whole career, got fed up with the passive, moved to Horizon and was getting ready to come back to him but holy hell they do not want him to have a functioning passive.
RIP beacon scan ability. This is a big nerf, for path mains who play solo ranked like me, just cant rely on teammates. Only thing I would have been happy with reduced grapple cooldowns. Ability to put zipline without restrictions is a good buff though.
One passive ability that would be awesome is going a little faster than any other characters through any kind of zip lines in the game. Since he is the "path finder" he should be the master of going through paths.
From what I’m aware of that is coming. Leaks have revealed the base velocity on zips for all legends is 600 and pathy will now have a movement speed of 1000 almost doubling his original zip line speed.
@@bobz Ziplines are rarely that impressive and I play pathfinder 98/100 games, this update is a nerf than any buff, way less strategic planning behind scanning for the ring and closing in to circles when you have to rely on random drops to get your movement and positioning info...
thats a huge nerf lmao. There are tons of survey beacons around the map, there are a handful of carepacks a game and they are almost all in extremely open areas. Might as well just not give him a passive at this point.
Kinda fits his theme as a skirmisher now, grapple close to enemies, like boxing. Honestly not bad. I'd probably make it 40 damage (10 extra would take 5 hits to down someone instead of 7) Then make the skirmisher passive increase movement speed on zipplines imo.
Wow the legend who wears boxing gloves as an heirloom has extra melee damage as a passive, it actually makes sense! I'd go for punch outs so much more if I knew I had a slight hand to hand advantage
i mean this hole pathfinder passive thing is a little bit stupid...Like its a passive, you scan the beacon and you instantly get the zip line ... Wattson has kinda the same passive with ultimate accelerants ( she can hold two of them in one stuck which is nice and she can auto regen shiled health but the amount that she does is irrelevant)... His passive might not be as strong as other passives and for sure he could have a better one but its a unique one.... No-one except from path and wattson can have they ulty instantly
^^^zips that path places have increased speed for at least path finder but I have no idea if others get the said speed boost like the individual added above me
So I have 2 theories but I don't think there will be other choice that aren't these. 1.- there's just one beacon that makes different stuff depending on your legend, making one of them show the next ring and the other one show the enemies (yes it is announced that it will work like that for one of the groups) 2.- the worst choice that makes us have two beacons, it's not that bad but is much better to have only 1
There are two different things, shown in their blog posts. survey beacons now have an antenna dish and can only be used by recon legends to scan for legends. There is a new thing on the map called a "Ring Console" located in lowe areas, courtyards, etc that control legends can use to find out the next ring.
There will be two separate beacons, control legends will be able to tell where the next ring is while recon will be able to tell where enemies are like a crypto map.
So he can't scan survey beacons anymore? He was the legend that had it originally as a passive and then they took it and gave it to all other recon legends and now he doesn't have it at all? Come on respawn
with how long his ult is now, in addition to refreshing it when scanning care packages? probably going to be THE best legend to use for daily red weapon challenges

This is a big nerf cuz as soon as a care package is open you can't scan it anymore, and also you have to wait for a random drop on the map to scan something to have a passive taking effect? You don't really see how actually awful this passive is. I don't play Pathfinder but im sad for them i think you will be deceive when you will try this passive actually
😢 He is the only character I play...
@@equilibrium5280 It's funny how they managed to nerf non-existing passive
So no passive still
Do Caustic and Lifeline buffs still get revealed? I heard that Caustic and Wraith should be "Meta" this season but nothing has been said to caustic yet. And lifeline was gonna get a nice passive which also hasn't been revealed yet
They got nice buff with classes. Also lifeline ult should be faster now
I think all caustic really needs is for his passive to work more reliably. He's pretty decent as is and is one of the stronger control legends there is currently.
I feel like skirmishers should have ashs passive of seeing death boxes on the map.
that would literally be the recon passive, I think they intentionally made skirmisher legends have a weaker passive as most of them are already pretty powerful legends.
Does pathfinder himself travel faster than other legends on ziplines now? Or is it simply that ziplines are faster for everyone
i’ve had games where i’ve never ran across a care pack so i see this as a nerf
Hey guys, speaking of passive I have a good idea for a crypto passive buff!
00:54 what gun is that?
How did they make it worse!?
Is gonna be a free heirloom shards this season?
Free as long as you spend $160
@@ARMAfuckenGEDDON hell no
One passive ability that would be awesome is going a little faster than any other characters through any kind of zip lines in the game. Since he is the "path finder" he should be the master of going through paths.
From what I’m aware of that is coming. Leaks have revealed the base velocity on zips for all legends is 600 and pathy will now have a movement speed of 1000 almost doubling his original zip line speed.
They have done Pathfinder so fucking dirty.
This is a needed change path is a little better
I definitely think alot of people will find him fun next season. His ziplines are so speedy the movement will be great
@@bobz Ziplines are rarely that impressive and I play pathfinder 98/100 games, this update is a nerf than any buff, way less strategic planning behind scanning for the ring and closing in to circles when you have to rely on random drops to get your movement and positioning info...
thats a huge nerf lmao. There are tons of survey beacons around the map, there are a handful of carepacks a game and they are almost all in extremely open areas. Might as well just not give him a passive at this point.
I think he should be able to rig zip lines to do low tick damage to enemies who use them, 5-10 DMG a second, two rigged ziplines max.
They should just give him 35 melee damage as a passive honestly
Kinda fits his theme as a skirmisher now, grapple close to enemies, like boxing. Honestly not bad. I'd probably make it 40 damage (10 extra would take 5 hits to down someone instead of 7) Then make the skirmisher passive increase movement speed on zipplines imo.
Wow the legend who wears boxing gloves as an heirloom has extra melee damage as a passive, it actually makes sense! I'd go for punch outs so much more if I knew I had a slight hand to hand advantage
People say this would be op
But I agree it would make sense and be fitting passive
i mean this hole pathfinder passive thing is a little bit stupid...Like its a passive, you scan the beacon and you instantly get the zip line ...
Path should be able to zoom in like Vantage. i mean he is a robot after all with a big eye so why not?
Gibby and Caustic should run slower than other legends. I mean they are fat after all with a big belly so why not ?
@@kima0ne648 maybe because it would make those legends bad
Skirmisher here
Faide's new main
free my boy pathfinder
Every one of these reveals make me want to play this game less and less lmao
anything but a real passive for pathy
But now you can’t exactly scan a care pack as soon as you land.
I thought he could travel faster on ziplines in the update. I guess that was a myth then
It's just a zipline buff, all characters will move faster on Pathy zips.
^^^zips that path places have increased speed for at least path finder but I have no idea if others get the said speed boost like the individual added above me
@@Mr_Doodleydoo even enemies? Not sound like a buff
@@tayloroostenbrug8200 👍
U know what Pathfinder didnt have a passive and im so excited that i cant be mad
there are way less care packages then survey beacons available tho
I’m confused, so I know control legends can scan beacons and recon can too so are they the same or class specific?
Probs the same beacon w/ 2 different effects based on the class of the legend that scans it.
So I have 2 theories but I don't think there will be other choice that aren't these.
1.- there's just one beacon that makes different stuff depending on your legend, making one of them show the next ring and the other one show the enemies (yes it is announced that it will work like that for one of the groups)
2.- the worst choice that makes us have two beacons, it's not that bad but is much better to have only 1
There are two different things, shown in their blog posts. survey beacons now have an antenna dish and can only be used by recon legends to scan for legends. There is a new thing on the map called a "Ring Console" located in lowe areas, courtyards, etc that control legends can use to find out the next ring.
@@Theinatoriinator OHH ok that makes a ton more sense, I was confused for the longest time. Thx for the clarification lol
There will be two separate beacons, control legends will be able to tell where the next ring is while recon will be able to tell where enemies are like a crypto map.
Imaging all the of we will have. The game breaks when they try to reduce mag capacity by one bullet
The skirmisher passive seems real underwhelming compared to the other class’ passives
although i love vantage, he should have had her passive instead
i heard his zips are longer and he goes faster. If thats true he could reach cps very quickly
So no faster zip line or better accuracy while zip lining or more than one tactical ability to let him swing around like spider-man? OK
They should make him be able to cut his zip line with Some bolt cutters or something. That would be dope af!! if you ask me🤷🏻♂️
What’s so hard about allowing him to heal on zip lines…
So he can't scan survey beacons anymore? He was the legend that had it originally as a passive and then they took it and gave it to all other recon legends and now he doesn't have it at all? Come on respawn
but he still be faster on his ziplines?
yes
I wish skirmisher could get a better perk
So his passive remains the same, which is no passive. Good to know.
It's funny how they managed to nerf non-existing passive
with how long his ult is now, in addition to refreshing it when scanning care packages? probably going to be THE best legend to use for daily red weapon challenges
No lol
