Funny thing I like about the Spell Rank thing is that Gary Gygax said all the way back in the 80s that he wished they'd picked a different word for spell "levels" to not confuse with character/class levels and lamenting that it was too late to change now.
My hope for Pathfinder 3 is that they give spells Levels that work like all the other Levels in the game. A 5th-Level wizard would cast 5th-Level spells, etc.

Maybe worth mentioning that some of the classes in the upcoming Player Core 2 will (most probably) have bigger changes than only "a few minor tweaks" 😉
Thank you! The 7min video was already excellent, and this one is even excellenterer for the short form audience.
Here's hoping that some of the people confused about the remaster will use google and find this video before posting on reddit, which is somehow still a daily occurrence.

And well, for legal reasons.
All of the rules changes are already available for free on demiplane and soon they will also be on AON (5 days ago thay stated that they almost finished). Because there are some changes, 90% of them are straight up buffs to weak classes, or remasters of some class options. And new feats! Also reposition and swap actions. And disarm and aid got remade. Same with focus points, now you can regain all of them
While acknowledging that the remaster was necessary, it feels like a huge grift how they split it up. Bad paizo

Sad about t he loss of the runelord archetype
It's not lost, you can still play it (if your GM allows legacy content. No reason not to, it's not broken, just a bit more work to integrate), Paizo just won't officially print anything new for it until they print a completely new stand-alone runelord class. As Marc Seifter said, the wizard was too broad and held back the opportunity for things like a full fledged Necromancer class, so there is hope for more wizard spin-offs in the future!
