Hey, you already went white boy shopping and picked up Eddie the other day in the unplugged video 😂🎉 There were some other good additions to the collection here, though lol
The guy in the “jungle” is Eddie Vedder the lead singer of Pearl Jam. You recently reacted to them performing Black on MTV Unplugged. The other singer is Chris Cornell who was the lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave.
This entire album is 🔥🔥🔥 check out "Say Hello 2 Heaven" when you can. The guy in the weeds (Eddie) wasn't originally part of this song. He was waiting in the recording studio with his band at the time. He was listening to Chris recording this song. Chris was struggling with the low end, so Eddie walked over to the mic and sang it his way and the rest is history. 🤙
These high notes are sung by Chris Cornell the lead singer of Soundgarden who recently passed and low notes are Eddie Vedder the lead singer of Pearl Jam who came together to temporarily form this band. Also check out Say Hello To Heaven.
Lots of history to this group. The opening singer who hit those high notes was Chris Cornell- his voice had tremendous range and power. The second singer doing the low notes was Eddie Vedder, later of Pearl Jam, think you might’ve reacted to one of their songs. Chris and Eddie teamed up this one time, when Eddie was hanging out at a rehearsal and started singing the lower lines for Chris. That made the whole song come together. P.S. Eddie covered “Redemption Song” by Bob Marley live on acoustic guitar with Beyoncé as a duet.
Chris Cornell is the guy you reacted to singing a cover of Prince's song Nothing Compares To You. He has so much great music to listen to. His live performances are the best. Try his cover of Billie Jean live at MSN, As Hope and Promise Fade, I am the Highway live at Queen Elizabeth Theatre, or When I'm Down at Troubador 2010 concert. Those are all impressive performances
Another "super-group" out of Seattle. I actually currently live two blocks from the studio where this was recorded in the extreme northern end of Seattle (now the city of Shoreline). Temple of the Dog were assembled with members of Seattle bands Pearl Jam and Soundgarden around 1990. Their goal was to record one album in tribute to much-loved Seattle musician Andrew Wood, vocalist for band Mother Love Bone, whom had died via a drug overdose. Wood had been the roommate of Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell (the brunette singer at the beginning of the video). Members of Mother Love Bone went on to form Pearl Jam. Interesting fact, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder (the guy signing on his knees in the tall weeds), had never actually recorded in a real studio and this Temple of the Dog project was his first initiation. The video was shot at Discovery Park in Seattle along Puget Sound.
@@handsomerobnj have you done the tour at London Bridge? I was in a band years ago which recorded there, producer from LA wanted to make a demo so it was all in his dime. They have gold records hanging on the walls from Alice in Chains and other bands who've recorded there. The Goo Goo Dolls were in there about a month ago. Right across the street from Thrftway..
At the same December 1990 show at The Moore where Alice in Chains played (shot in black & white), Temple of the Dog also played, check out Say Hello 2 Heaven from that show, Eddie is hiding in the background harmonizing but Chris is centre stage is kills it. That would have been an insane concert to be at. So many hot & talented men. RIP to Chris, Layne & Mike.
Girl, that’s Eddie Vedder in the jungle😂 Anyway, Chris Cornell, first singer, black hair looked like Jesus, covered MJ’s Billie Jean. It is worth your time.
We miss you Chris and pray you found peace. K, a must video reaction is: Audioslave - Like a Stone Another Chris Cornell band. The lyrics are very important knowing how his story ends.
Another amazing band with the most gorgeous man I've laid eyes on, besides my hubby hehehe. You will be blown away by Caligula's Horse- Inertia + Cannon's Mouth live in Brisbane. PLEASE 🙏 You will be happy you did 😉
