this is a crappy karaoke version. the lyrics are shown too late and some are indicated on the wrong beat. very easy to miss the cue.

None of that is actually true. That is clearly wrong, if you listen to the song you will know every lyric happens when they indicated they happened. Also if you knew how the song went then you wouldn't need the lyrics and could just put them exactly where you want them. You do know you are suppose to record yourself when you sing so you improve, which you are not doing, if you were then you wouldn't have a complaint about timing, knowing you could just move your vocal track to where you want it.
