The rainbow high little we’re throwing me off so hard. Like, I couldn’t figure out WHY they were so jarring in comparison to the normal Rainbow High dolls, but then I realized it’s because their eyes are painted on and not in-set.
it's sad to see rainbow high drop in quality, and the change of target audience :( I know the reason is money, but why would they do that. they started so strong. the Barbie besties look cute, though
If the Barbie dream besties are $19.99 it’s only so much they can do but its still better than what new normally get from Playline Barbie but with Brooklyn they should just gave her, her signature braids but Barbie’s shirt is my fav piece out of all of them but every doll brand has a experimental stage in the beginning but it’s up the consumer that’ll make the companies increase the quality or not
I like the Barbie Dream Besties and I’d love to get Renee and Teresa. I’m only worried about Teresa’s pleather outfit and how it will age. I stopped collecting RH after the reboot but I must say I kinda like Indigo Bailey. She’s the only one who looks like her own person and not just a mini version of her sister.
I saw an unboxing of Magenta and Indigo and they look way better in person. The plastic and fabric parts are of good quality while the face screenings are some of the best made. This ain’t Mattel. Their hair is good too or kind of in Magenta’s case. I also saw an unboxing of Sapphire and like the other two face and outfit good. Only problem was her hair cause oof that was a mess if I’ve ever seen one. I’m planning to get Indigo and Daisy. Especially Daisy as I’m a Sunny stan so I get all dolls associated with her including the siblings.
This is nice to know considering how strange they look in the stock photos! Hopefully I get to see them in stores soon to get a look at them in person!
@@afrokitty2373 from what i know, RH kinda broke MGA in some way, the brand eat a lot of money, but didnt got much in return, and now the brand is like...crazy? broke and running after the damage

I wonder if it’s because they couldn’t compete with monster high or something because the target audience switch doesn’t make sense to me.
Renee and Malibu Barbie are my faves but I agree, Malibu Barbie's shorts throws off the look and im probably gonna change them to a skirt or something

I just found out the littles have poly hair so even though I kinda like 1 or 2 it's a pass
The hair is "manageable" since it's apparently poly
I believe these may come with Saran most Barbie dolls that cost more than $9.99 and even some of the cheaper ones have Saran hair
