It pisses me off when I hear about the disrespect that women drivers get. Think about it how would you feel if you're Mother or Daughter was a driver and they were treated like that.
God Bless all of the truckers out there.

The first interactions I had with a female driver happened early in the 1980s. I was heading west on interstate 80 out of NYC when she called out on the CB that she was broke down and needed a ride to the TSA in Columbia, NJ. When I pulled up to help her out I got the shock of my life; she stood about 5 ft nothing and probably didn't weigh much more than 100 pounds soaking wet. With her hair up in soup can size curlers when she climbed up into my truck she asked if she could take her chihuahua with us. I don't know what I was expecting, but she definitely wasn't it. Even so, she still had my respect, anyone who can maneuver an 18 wheeler in & out of NYC does; hell, I know drivers who won't go anywhere near that place. After dropping her off and wishing her good luck I chuckled to myself for the next 100 miles at my reaction to the first sight of her.

Your story gave me a smile. I'm familiar with that stretch of I 80 myself.

I don't care what is between your legs, how you identify, who you like to have sex with, or which god/gods you worship, if your a driver and not a damn steering-wheel holder, you've got my respect.
Most other drivers I've met also think this. It's professional respect.

Any woman who will trade high heels for 18 wheels is alright by me
