The edits were a miss on this one. The sephiroth voice lines were too loud and intrusive, and the anime smack voice line was only funny like 2 of the 30 times it was used
I agree. A lot of the sound effects were too silly and completely unnecessary. Wasn’t a fan of the music either
not to mention that there wasl oud ass music that covered all or the original audio, unless Marss was speaking. It was just annoying, and the editing was an equivalent to a 2017 "meme compilation" type of editing. We all may be a little bias, but I MUCH prefer Ultima as the editor. (no hate to the actual person who edited this, I just don't like how you do it)

Definitely agree with this. While the edits are good, they shouldn't be used every breathing second. You put some sprinkles on the ice cream, you don't just eat sprinkles with a bit of ice cream between it

Ultima will always be the goat, and Quinnandwin have been making some improvements and doing a lot better since first starting out, but this editor just consistently over-edits, and makes the videos almost unbearable to watch or listen to because of how much is going on.. I wanted to give benefit of the doubt for a while, but it's been a long time now since Marss' added these new editors, and this one just hasn't really tried to make any compromises to stick to the Marss style we'd become used to, or to listen to any complaints.
I'm sure this will be ignored, but I hope this editor can adapt and learn from the others so that I can stop cringing throughout every video, and go back to watching these vids countless times over like I once did

The music is a bit loud so it's hard to hear marss, and it feels like a smash montage. I'd rather have their be less editing where it isn't necessary to make the portions you do edit stand out more

@@Grungus37 honestly same. I'm okay with the edits, as long as they bring something to the video, but the edits just exists for the sake of having an edit. I've been watching way less of marss' videos, and I think it's because the constant sound bytes make it feel like youtube kids
Those voice lines were tired out after the first five minutes.
To be honest, not liking the editing style. Keep it simple. (The hat on sephiroth and all the extra stuff from the first minute)

Imagine maining a bad character and making them look cool. That’s how it feels to be a Doc main; but you take it all the way up top with ZSS. I know this isn’t relevant to the anime creature with a long sword; but you inspire me to use any character the way I’d like. Also, you taught me how to do way better with getting off ledge and baiting ledge options.
