- This song explains a village in Tonga called Kolonga also known as 'Utulongoa'a. Pretty much similar to Teu Talanoa by Sione 'Aleki. Another song that talks abouts Kolonga. Kolonga is the largest village and populated settlement located on the northeast coast of Tongatapu in the Hahake District, Kingdom of Tonga. The metaphoric reference to Kolonga is 'Utulongoa'a, a term which has come to mean the noisy shore. This reference alludes to the sound of waves crashing against limestone and coral cliff faces that fortify the settlement.

This song was sang by my uncle Uesifila Filikitonga (Luke sii Filikitonga’s son) and composed by my aunt Mesa and gramps Semisi and family.. this song was for my aunt Na'ati Si'i .. (Semisi Taunga Filikitonga's youngest daughter) i think back in 2005? 🙏🏽❤️

Kolonga is a word from the Royalties sport called Heulupe and in reference to Lupe (dove). I dont have the details on the sport but I know its about that beautiful bird (DOVE) thats how KOLONGA come about.
